It always seems but not actually happens lolSeems people with expired COPR are getting PPR recently. Maybe things are moving for the better.

That's the only thing going on. Outland situation hasn't changed any bit.Happening since early july, nothing new.

Logically, clearing the backlog has to start with expired COPRs; so yeah!On a positive note, if they are issuing PPRs to expired COPRs, it very good. If they could clear up this backlog before 7 September then they could fully focus on giving fresh pprs to outlanders
May be thats what we should wait for instead of border opening.Logically, clearing the backlog has to start with expired COPRs; so yeah!
Yeah, it's weird, the biggest immigrant accepting country in the world has the worst immigration department.I have one observation.. Canada is weirdly "paperish" in this work. Why do they need physical passport? Australia attaches PR "electronically".
Maybe. Any idea how many expired COPRs have being issued PPR since July?May be thats what we should wait for instead of border opening.
They will get to us after Expired Coprs are dealt with and the Student Visa rush is completed.
I visited Australia for one year to do my Post-Doc they never even stamped my passport when I arrived or left their borders. Everything was electronic. I was surprised when I heard that Canada needs my passport to give me the visa.I have one observation.. Canada is weirdly "paperish" in this work. Why do they need physical passport?
