Order gcms notes if you want insight into what's going on with your case
Hello Guys, Is it a good idea to order GCMS notes at this point. I got remedical and pre arrival in feb after that a complete silence. So, many ppl are telling that pre arrival and remedical means processing is almost done and eligibility is pass but i am really worried bcoz i haven't heard anything after Feb.

Received AOR since April 23, 2021, after nothing it got stuck in SA I guess where others with the same timeline already started receiving DMS .
Already sent web form and call centre reply to come as usual its in process
Can anyone help with what can be done at this point?

IRCC asked me for a plan of establishing in Canada (Plan d'établissement au Canada) like a job research or home transaction. I thought they ask only the sponsor this kind of things...
We just bought a house and I've the contract signed in the lawyer's office. Problem : the contract is huge, 60 pages. Should I send everything, or just when I'm signing as "the consenting spouse" (like our layer labeled) ?

I'm a PR holder since March 2020. I flied to India in April 2021 for my marriage which happened on May 2021.
Now, I want to apply for a spousal PR for my wife. As I'm currently working from India, Can I apply it by staying in India? Or should I fly back alone to Canada and apply?

Here's a suggestion from friend:
I should fill the required forms and then ship them to my Canada location and ask any of my friend who's staying in Canada to ship that package to IRCC. He had succeeded this way. He applied while being in India and only flew back to Canada with his wife after she got the PR.
What are the chances here? And let's say if the application got rejected in this attempt. Can I apply again(this time by being in Canada physically)?
You must be resident in Canada (and physically in Canada) to sponsor. They have access to entry and exit records.
Can't say what will happen. There have certainly been a few cases here that look like they were held (very lengthy delays) because the sponsor wasn't in Canada (and sponsors both had difficulty finding out and knowing what to do). That may be worse in some respects than a rejection with re-apply, because of uncertainty. But again, no way to know.
You know what the rules are, and if you want to try to get around them and see what happens, by all means.
and another question, why are they asking me for more proofs of relationship...come on, I've been in Canada with my wife since 1 year and we've a house and I contributed for the 20 % of downpayment, should I show my transactions that I sent to my wife ?
Also, why are they asking me a new background A/(IMM 5669)...why can't they contact Canadian border agency to see that I didn't leave the country...since 1 year !!!!
The chances of this working are extremely low and refusal is almost guaranteed.
You can reapply as long as there isn't a misrepresentation finding that results in a five year ban for your spouse. When you apply, make sure you make it clear that your address is in India and do not misrepresent yourself as being physically in Canada. You don't want there to be any risk of a misrepresentation ban.
Note that Canadian citizens can sponsor their spouses while living outside of Canada. If your friend is a Canadian citizen, then this is why he was successful.
You could send selected pages from that. Alternatively you might find sending the accepted offer pages much less bulky, and offer to send more or bank mortgage docs as closing is in process. (As I recall in Ontario anyway the accepted offer is quite binding)
Thank you for the word of advice. This makes me more cautious now.
Will not misrepresent and will try to apply from India. If it gets rejected, will fly back to Canada and apply again.

Yep - he got extremely lucky! I've actually never seen that happen before on this forum.
As long as you answer all questions truthfully, you won't have an issue.
