Dude obviously has a strong profile with that CRS475. He well deserved his ITA.

I have been working in Canada for past 3 years now... soon to be 4. I wanted to apply in 2020 but that meant PCC. And that meant my father had to go out and visit police station in middle of a pandemic. And that meant risk to him and mother and rest of the family. Lost few folks to Covid, so did not want to risk it. Now they are vaccinated and Pandemic is somewhat little better in India so took the chance. PCC is on the way... rest what God wishes.

He must have faked his age somehow. IRCC's website does a secret webcam scan of the candidates face, uses a cutting-edge AI algorithm to accurately estimate their age, and sends the candidates profile into oblivion if they're younger than 50.

LOL! No one hates anyone. Its nice way to pass time while waiting for IRCC to move their massive posteriors. But yeah, we should not be an ass to each other. At the end of the day it is a damn visa application. May be somewhat important right now, but it is what it is -- a beauracatic thing.

I think they simply don't have enough CEC candidates in the pool to invite?

They are now processing the last stretch of CEC applications received last year (November). November and December files would be the quickest for them to get done with because those consecutive all program invites that began in September must have had at least 95% FSW and PNP applicants.

Interesting to see what applications they will focus on in September and especially since they would be virtually done working on study visas. With border re-opening possibility in early September we can have a positive outlook

They do, they always do. First evidence is the numbers are rounded; it's easy to say there wasn't exactly 4500 or 3000 candidates in the CEC pool at the time of draws. Second, the drop was steady, first 4500 from 6000, now 3000 from 4500. Lastly, it took people only a week to fill the CEC pool back up after the megadraw which had actually emptied the CEC pool.

Also the cutoff went back to 400s, so the pool is not empty for sure.

There would always be enough CEC in the pool. They could easily do another 100 points draw and invite 10,000 candidates but as the year advances its less appealing inviting more CECs for obvious reasons

Thats quite possible actually. Think about it. There are some 79404 people in the score from 1200 - 400. Out of which they got just 3000 folks with CEC AND >= 404 score? The stack is getting empty and now only folks left are FSW ones.

Entire Canada has heard the CEC train. All CECs with 300, even 200 scores have been creating EE profiles in hope for an ITA. Even the megadraw couldn't keep CEC pool empty, it got back up in about a week. Also, compare the last two cutoffs, 350 with 4500 invites, 400 with 3000 invites, not a great jump for a drop of 1500 invites. When the CEC pool is really almost emptied in a CEC draw, you see a CRS cutoff of 200s or 100s.

It's too soon to get excited until next week because if there's a complementary 1500 CEC draw then it's bad.
