Imagine spending thousands for Canadian education, probably with loans, wanting to use the post graduate work permit so you can become CEC, and having your visa rejected.
OMG after taking loans and probably having to repay with interest. umm yeah that can actually make a person think suicide. Not everyone is mentally strong. Although, suicide should NEVER be an option please.

Anyone considering Canada now either for student visa or PR should just know he/she is in for a ride and should brace up. It’s not for the faint hearted . What we go through every 2 wks with the draws alone. We all deserve a medal cos shit ain’t easy. No matter how you try to remove your mind it still rings in your brain somewhere.

That’s why I love this group and I almost passed out when the last thread was deleted lol cos it was literally my comfort at least I know I’m not alone in the struggle. And this is not something one can discuss with just anybody they might not really understand the pain.

well just a word of encouragement to everyone hang in there people. Anything that has a beginning must surely have an end and I’m hopeful the end is near. It’s in Gods hands not even IRCC themselves can stop us. God pass them.

Hi All,

Today my father-in law and mother-in-law both got Passport submission request from IRCC for visitor visa.. We have applied their visa in Jan 2021... I think if they are processing visitor visa applications then I don't think they will hold PPR's for COPR holders... We can hope FSW as well in coming days
That’s great news! Do you mind telling us what country they applied from?

Aint it the truth though ? The whole world has started working, all the businesses, the govt offices, etc. Maybe Covid has adverse dire effects on your body if you work for IRCC
UK have been issuing visas on a steady level for the past couple of months. Covid is no longer an excuse for serious-minded nations. Funny thing is, many of these countries aren't even doing as well as Canada in terms of vaccinations.

Iv noted the letter is dated 15 June. I mean thats quiete a while back now...itll be 2 months old by the end of the coming week. Hopefully the working situation has improved significantly since then. I guess its some information for us to work with but its funny/annoying how these memos (just like the suspension of FSW processing one) somehow creep up only many weeks or months later to further depress folk who are just starting to be optimistic for good news. This sucks lmao
I feel that memo was leaked intentionally, in an effort to stop the bashing. Like, "see guys, it's your fault".

It really is surprising how Canada is behind all the trends. We have all the top tech companies here, but service still sucks in a lot of places :D I have been living here for 10 years already and can say that the change is very slow and gradual.

I think they are deliberately refusing to focus on fsw for now. They have their priorities they are working with. I believe if they want to make pprs rain trust me they would low capacity staff or not.

This system is computer based even if they were all millipedes we will still be seeing little progress. I believe they are deliberately ignoring and when they are ready for us ITAs and pprs will rain. It’s just we don’t know when that will be and that wait is very demoralizing.

They should at least come out and say a date so people can have rest of mind. The uncertainty position they are putting us in is just wickedness and unfair.
One bottle of burukutu for you, my dear.

Lol. F*ck me! Some people have been waiting for that PPR since 2019. Smh. That's to say that tourists would have edges over PR applicants, lol. Smh

No pressure to hasten things up because of the low population, perhaps?

I am hearing some chatter in various FB groups about the possibility of cancelling pending applications, this maybe highly impossible but there is 0.1% it may happen.
