You can find many on these forums asking how can they circumvent those restrictions and land. No wonder they closed issuing PPRs.Yea, Man. I wonder who were those dumb idiots who reached Canadian borders when they weren't supposed to.

Your application & my application = 2 COPRs in the city of Toronto *wink* *wink*This is me right now. I can't even get into a relationship because adding spouse is another headache. You run the risk of having your file finalized in 2023
Just catching up. What happened to the last thread? This is a thread for all the FSW aspirants.

Even if they extended it by another 90 days, it shd end in August and hopefully September is the blessed month. To be honest, I'm beginning to manage my expectations towards that date. We aren't tourists so that news might have very little to do with our applications. I believe the one that concerned us was the June 21st announcement and we haven't seen considerable movement since then. Someone said they perhaps extended the embargo on finalization by another 3months. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. It's pure speculation right now. I honestly don't know what to think anymore.
PS: I think someone at IRCC deliberately leak that document due to the backlash they face from applicants on the internet. To me, it's a subtle way of saying ''you caused this'' to us from IRCC.
It has driven us nuts. The hopelessness. But i do believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. Touchwood.Truly, I feel for them; i hope their mental health is still intact. Stuff like this would have driven me nuts lol
It’s easy to say IRCC owes us nothing but courtesy demands that they use their discretion to wave-off certain requirements for people who have suffered greatly from their lack of communication in the past several months. Even a simple apology and promise to make future communication more transparent will go along way
HopefullyIs it reasonable to assume sometime in September they would start inviting and processing FSWs since border may be opened to tourists?
I truly hope the whole world gets rid of covid and everybody can live their life with freedom.Ontario has met the first benchmark to move out of Step 3 i.e. more than 80% of the eligible population has been vaccinated with one dose.
Covid will be here for decades, unfortunately. We will learn to live with it thoughI truly hope the whole world gets rid of covid and everybody can live their life with freedom.
Exactly, it will become a new flu. Apparently the numbers of flu infections have fallen drasticlly. The more people will be vaccinated the safer we will be I am just hopping that people have learnt a lesson out of this.Covid will be here for decades, unfortunately. We will learn to live with it though
I mean atleast getting rid of constant threat of lockdowns. Shutting things down and wasting time can’t certainly be the answerCovid will be here for decades, unfortunately. We will learn to live with it though
I hope we get to see PPRs sent in hundreds from Sept otherwise this would no longer be a logical reason why they paused processing of files
