Seems we were right as they linked my child's application for determination of citizenship grant date only. Today I have "Decision Made" and my is tracker updated to completed for all except Citizenship ceremony which is not started.

They started processing my application on January 21, 2021. Everything is “In Process” ever since. So frustrating

So i have just got my application updated . All completed ( language skills,prohibtion, physical presence and citizenship test ) ,except Citizenship Ceremony. on my ECAS ,it shows decision made but when i clicked on it .it says nth more than when they received my application and when they start processing it.

so how long will it take them to schedule an oath ceremony And are they going to send any papers ( certificate ) in my Mail? Coz I am going to Ontario for about a month .

In addition to the above , my friend and i both submitted our application together but his status is still as In progress without any test invitation.

Hope to see all o you get your test invitation very soon.

If all sections but oath are "Completed", it is Decision Made and the application is approved.

"How long" varies from applicant to applicant. The blanket answer is this: Expect it will take 2 months from the date of DM to oath in order to avoid disappointment.

I think I should take my words back as it seems Mississauga office will invite us for oath as family. My wife's tracker is updated for test eventhough she is Feb 2021 applicant. I think the only reason for this early test is to invite us for oath together as I believe currently Mississauga offices is sending test invites to Sep 2020 applicants (Please correct me if I am wrong).
Her test window is from 4th August to 24th August.

But I just saw another Feb 2021 applicant from Mississauga office who has already received the test invite on 22nd July so our case is not exceptional. Let's see how IRCC will proceed after test.

I wouldnt be happy yet as Mississauga and many other offices are working intelligently by not going by order of application received. So sending invite is not about making you wait but at least lets wait for more time before we think so. My local office sent invites to 10 of 12 months(2020) within 6-8 weeks(may-jul). I cant believe anything what these cic officers do. Illogic most of the time on the order they attend the files.

Usually it takes some time after the test hence lets give it some more time.

So my wild theory wasn't wrong after all .

Correct if it happens as its for good for the whole family.

Hello all,

My status changed to "Decision made" in ECAS today and also in the new portal every section is marked as "Completed" except for Citizenship ceremony section which is still showing as "Not started". I have not received any email notification just as a regular morning routine I logged into both portals and found these updates

Could someone please update the tracker? Thank you.
