Hello!
Could someone help me, please?

I indicated my spouse's work experience (dependent, NO canadian work experience=not claiming any points) and the list of required documents now includes Employment records with each of his previous employer. Do we really need to provide those given we aren't claiming any points for that experience or could we just include employment history into Personal history and remove it from Work history all together?

Any help is much appreciated!

Hey guys,

this might a stupid question but I’ve my medical exam today at 2pm. I had two small glasses of red wine last night as it was a get together and no one knew about my medical.

My question is will it be a problem with the medical? Should I get it postponed?

It will definitely impact. Its still in your digestive system and traces shall be found in blood too. Infact if you would have smoked then your WBC count would be a bit higher than usual. Take a wise call accordingly.

I just called up Sadhu Vasvani to confirm if it’ll impact or not and they confirmed it will not. I don’t think they check for alcohol in your blood for immigration purpose. I did search here and found this:

Hey everyone.. I just came back from Sadhu Vasvani after giving my medical. Here's my experience:

I reached at 130PM, my appointment was at 2PM so I thought of reaching early. Luckily no traffic or anything for me today. When I reached, they were cleaning the reception area and hence was asked to wait for sometime. Around 1:50PM, people were asked to queue for token number.

After getting the token number, the lady at the reception uploaded my details on e-medical portal. She gave me a document which I understand is the medical document that we need to upload while submitting the profile. I got my picture done and then waited for few minutes before one of the nurses called me to get my tests started. I was assigned Dr Malkit Law, she asked me basic questions about my health and did some basic tests. Nothing too fancy.

Then went for my chest X-ray, then urine and at last blood test. The whole process took around 30-35 minutes (after getting the token number). I took the following documents with me:

1. Two passport copies (front and back).
2. Original passport.
3. ITA soft copy, although I wasn't asked for it at any point.

I feel the whole process was pretty smooth. I did ask the doctor if I can get a copy of the report, she denied. She said we'll let you know if there's any issue. I'm hoping the reports will be good. :)

I'll submit my profile this week most probably. Hoping for the best!

If you get MEP and BIL together, you should be good as far as medical exam is concerned.

Hello....

This is regarding proof of Funds...

Should schedule 4 and PR application have the same amount as POF as mentioned in OINP application?

Didn't they do the eye check up? Last time when I went for the medical for student visa in 2019 they did it. I took medical in Pune.

The doctor just asked me if I wear specs or not.. I said I don't but I do have a number for one eye. She was good with that I guess.

I wasn’t asked for anything in terms of file details. I understand the document they gave me has a unique number which IRCC will be able to link it with when they’ll receive the reports from these guys.
Thank you for your quick reply. I am planning to go for my upfront medicals this weekend. Thought I'd check before going...
