Hey everyone.. I just came back from Sadhu Vasvani after giving my medical. Here's my experience:

I reached at 130PM, my appointment was at 2PM so I thought of reaching early. Luckily no traffic or anything for me today. When I reached, they were cleaning the reception area and hence was asked to wait for sometime. Around 1:50PM, people were asked to queue for token number.

After getting the token number, the lady at the reception uploaded my details on e-medical portal. She gave me a document which I understand is the medical document that we need to upload while submitting the profile. I got my picture done and then waited for few minutes before one of the nurses called me to get my tests started. I was assigned Dr Malkit Law, she asked me basic questions about my health and did some basic tests. Nothing too fancy.

Then went for my chest X-ray, then urine and at last blood test. The whole process took around 30-35 minutes (after getting the token number). I took the following documents with me:

1. Two passport copies (front and back).
2. Original passport.
3. ITA soft copy, although I wasn't asked for it at any point.

I feel the whole process was pretty smooth. I did ask the doctor if I can get a copy of the report, she denied. She said we'll let you know if there's any issue. I'm hoping the reports will be good. :)

I'll submit my profile this week most probably. Hoping for the best!

30 mins! that was super fast! They have improved the process now.

The lady at the reception confirmed that the document they gave me is the only thing that should be uploaded. @parminder2021 Can you confirm if you received a two page document from Sadhu vasvani?

They gave me a two page document. FIrst page has all my details and some instructions, and second one has a table with all the tests required.

You can check the footer of the document, if it says page 1 of 2 then may be they missed a page. If not then may be the software got updated and now all the details fit in one page.

MEP and BIL are not documents, they are application statuses on express entry after you submit the profile.

MEP - Medicals passed
BIL - Biometrics Instruction letter

I think he was addressing your concern about passing the medical exams. :)

Hi all did anyone had bachelors+Mba degree but was offered double degree instead of masters by WES? I got 119 for double degrees but in PR application when I select masters from university and 1 year course from Wes, my score for education shows increase of 7 points. Any clue about it?

You need to select Canadian equivalency as per ECA report even though your original degree was a master's. The difference between two certificates and masters is 7 points.

Yea I got two pages like you mentioned. I just have to upload them now. Will get my bank statement tomorrow and hopefully this week should be my submission date.

Regarding the statuses, they get updated on the CIC login page itself?

Yes, you'll see a new application with type "Permanent Residency" after submission. All tracking is done from there.

This is how the status tracker looks:

Hi Guys...

This is regarding Proof of funds...

I have my banking with axis bank and I have a savings account, fixed deposit and mutual funds with the same.
The amount in my savings account has sufficient funds to show as proof of funds.

So, in the letter to be obtained from bank should I also mention about fixed deposits and mutual funds or can I omit them ?

Hello!
Could someone help me, please?

I indicated my spouse's work experience (dependent, NO canadian work experience=not claiming any points) and the list of required documents now includes Employment records with each of his previous employer. Do we really need to provide those given we aren't claiming any points for that experience or could we just include employment history into Personal history and remove it from Work history all together?

Any help is much appreciated!
Same story, i wonder if we can move work experience to personal history in this case

I have savings account, stocks, mutual funds and fixed deposits in multiple banks. But I only showed funds in my savings account with ICICI, which are more than the required amount.

It worked for me in OINP, so I'm hoping this will work in express entry too.

If the amount is more than the required amount and it was not deposited recently, I think you should be ok.

Exactly. They are only bothered to see the funds in a single letter.
Its not necessary for us to open our plethora of financial locker to them. Let it be brief and detailed.

I am in the same situation. SO here is what I decided to do after all the research online & googling...

Post ITA we can still remove spouse/dependent's work experience (non-Canadian) and mention them in Personal history as it carries "0" point in the profile (which can be seen in the ITA also). So as long as the changes do not impact the score we are good to go. Also, it would be good to mention about the same in the letter of explanation as to why we removed dependent's non-Canadian work experience and put them in personal history section.

Refer this :

** This is my personal opinion and approach. Please do your part of the research before yo proceed. All the best! :)

Actually I have not accepted the invitation yet (Not clicked on "Continue application")... We are waiting to get PCC and other docs before accepting the ITA.

ITA received on 7th July.
Hey, there is no such thing as accepting the ITA, either you decline it or submit the application within the given deadline. I also received the ITA on 7th, and I hope we all are in the almost ready to submit phase, in a week or two. I see many people have already submitted it.

My settlement funds are with ICICI bank and the bank's refusing to put the average balance on the 'balance certificate'. They are also refusing to state the current outstanding credit card details. Is this OK?
