Hi folks,

My visa has been rejected 2 times (SDS Category) for Humber College Post Graduate Diploma (Ontario Graduate Certificate) - Global Business Management course (May 2020 intake).

Reason (both times) - I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

I have studied bachelor’s of business management previously and graduated in August 2019 (77%).
I then worked as a marketing executive for 7 months (October 2019 to April 2020). I am not doing anything since May 2020 to February 2021. I am 23 years old Indian citizen living in India.

1st Filing was done on 24th January 2020 and got refusal on 2nd February 2020
2nd Filing was done on 26th February 2020 and got refusal on 3rd March 2020

After 2 refusals, I applied for CAIPS notes which stated :

GCMS/CAIPS Notes for 1st Refusal -

Application reviewed. Client received a Bachelor in Business Management (2019). Client wants to attend Global Business Management at Humber College. On review of all information including PA's previous employment and educational history, their motivation to pursue studies in Canada at this point does not seem reasonable. Study plan submitted is general and I am not satisfied with client's explanation of career benefits. Chosen program at the college level at such an expense is illogical in light of PA's reported scholarly and/or work history. Considering previous academic education, employment history, personal establishments and ties to home country, I am not satisfied that the applicant would be a bonda fide student in Canada and would depart Canada at the end of the period authorised for stay. Application refused.

GCMS/CAIPS Notes for 2nd Refusal -

Application, documents submitted and GCMS history reviewed. Previous refusal noted. Applicant wants to attend Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning for Global Business Management. Considering applicant's extensive education and previous work experience in the same field, I am not satisfied that applicant would not have already achieved the benefits of this program. It is not evident why applicant would study this program at sch great expense considering applicant already possess a higher level of qualification. Client has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Business Management. I am not satisfied that this is a reasonable progression of studies, which raises concerns regarding applicant's intended purpose in Canada.
Not satisfied on balance that applicant is a genuine student who would respect terms of authorized stay, nor that S-1 is not facilitate entry to Canada for other unknown reasons. Application refused.

During my second time study permit filing, I was working and I got an official resumption of work letter on official letterhead which stated I will join this company back after my studies in Canada. However, this company is permanently shut down due to pandemic.

My IELTS is 7.0 with 6 and above. (Valid till June 2021)

I have considered changing my institute and I currently have offer letter from a good state run/ government University’s MBA program | September 2021.

This University’s MBA does not offer a specialisation but the core modules in a particular field (marketing, finance, HR etc) can be selected in second year and I intend to choose elective modules related to Marketing.

Question 1 - How to convince the Visa Officer this time?

Question 2 - How to justify my 8-9 months gap where I didn’t do anything? (may 2020 to february 2021)

Question 3 - Is it advisable to enclose a illegitimate (fake) offer letter from my friend's business enterprise?

Question 4 - What additional documents can I attach to demonstrate family ties, home ties? (I am the only child) | (During 2nd attempt of visa filing, I attached Sponsorship affidavit, Father's ITR, Father's Salary Slip, Provident Fund, An employment resumption letter from my previous organisation)
This time, I plan to attach CA Report which states 3 properties under my father's name, available funds, father's annual salary and jewelry.

Question 5 - What is the ideal time for visa filing for September 2021 intake?

Question 6 - I have never travelled out of India so how can I justify my travel history.

I humbly request you peeps to help me out.

It's clear to the visa officer that you're not a genuine student. According to the visa officer, there is no reason why you need to spend so much money to travel to Canada to study with no clear benefits given you already have a bachelors and work experience.

Therefore there's no reason why your permit can be approved

dont submit anything fake. If caught you can be banned for 5 yrs. Did you do any crash courses or any online training during that time. If yes, you can include that.

I genuinely intend to only study in Canada. What can I do differently this time? I’ve chosen a master level program with core subjects in the area of interest which is in sync with my previous work experience.

I didn’t. It was due to the pandemic. I was just learning MS Excel and French language.

Gap is not an issue, you can always justify saying that you had challenges in seeking out a suitable employment due to Pandemic, however, I did not wanted to my time and utilized it in a fruitful way by learning French.
From your notes, I could also see that VO is not convinced with your study plan. You need to work on your SOP. Do some research on internet and find out what is a study plan. Regarding international travel history, you can say, I am very young and just started with my career, I never felt the need of going out of the country however, I feel now I need a global exposure to propel my carrier.
Basically, however and whatever you write point it the direction of some progression.

Thank you very much. I’ve changed my course and now it is a MBA from a state run (government funded) university. It is different but still relevant to my previous undergraduate degree and in sync with work experiences.

Yes, I did. You may ask me anything and I will try to answer your question.
I have been refused twice
1st refusal
Course : post graduate diploma in project management.
Reason in gcms notes : proposed study different from previous education.
2nd refusal
Course : master in informatics
Reason : motivation to study not reasonable
Background :
Bachelor's degree in IT
2 years of work experience
Dropped a master's degree after that
Currently unemployed.
I mentioned everything in sop, had enough funds, mentioned my career goals, shown CA certificate to prove home ties.
Age 29
Single

Could you please suggest me the issues in my application.

As per numerous cases which I have seen,

Issue - Relevancy of program and Career goals are "INCONSISTENT" - This refers to you not being able to make up your mind whether you want to pursue Project Management or Master in Informatics.

Plus side - You have a legitimate master's offer letter. Rework on your SOP. Seek professional assistance and invest in a visa consultant who will draft your SOP. (This is what I did in my final attempt)

Plan of action - Work on future plans section of your SOP - Attach naukri.com screenshots, talk about how your annual salary package will drastically improve if you pursue this course and work in India. Mention that you have worked at an executive level and now you intend to work at a managerial position and this course is imperative for this position. Attach glassdoor.com, screenshots stating the annual salary of informatics manager/ analyst etc - https://www.glassdoor.co.in/Salaries/informatics-manager-salary-SRCH_KO0,19.htm?countryRedirect=true

If you have any doubts, pls feel free to personal message me. Another recommendation will be to seek professional assistance. I will provide you the details of the consultant who helped me out. (NOT PROMOTING)

Cheers.
