The status on the dashboard isn't realtime. It is likely updated by a batch job every morning.The new dashboard system is designed such that any update will be shown real time first in the tracker. Then I guess it goes into a queue for emails to be sent later. I'm still yet to see any emails as well. Dont worry, you'll get it soon.
My test invitation and test "Completed" status were both updated on the dashboard one day later than when the update actually happened.
