I applied in Aug 2020.
Got test invitation on June 25th and gave test on July 2nd and today Test activity is updated and it’s completed now.

how long usually it takes once test is completed ? What are the next steps ?

Has anyone applied from BC (Victoria/Vancouver)? My app has just been sitting there with everything showing in progress. Bit frustrating when people in September onwards are getting tests.

Applied Aug 14, got AOR on Nov 25 and In Process Feb 22.

Applied Aug 14, got AOR on Nov 25 and In Process Feb 22.

Not from BC but I feel your pain. There are quite a few of us with everything ‘In Process’ while people who applied after have finished the test.

I received FP request and submitted through an agency last month, but my wife did not - her Background Verification status shows as "completed" as of March. Does this mean she will not be asked for FP and could receive her test invite? Or is her test invite held up until my FP / background verification gets done?

Her Indian passport expires in 3 months, and we are wondering whether it is worth the hassle of applying for a new Indian passport, or just wait for her Canadian citizenship to come through. We don't anticipate traveling internationally this year, given COVID.

If her BG checks are completed, it is unlikely that she will receive a FP request. Also, I have seen reports of one person in the application getting test invite before the other so IMO, your FP should not delay her test invite.

You don't have to but we can't anticipate what the delay will be given the current backlog. If there is an emergency and you have to travel, you'll need a passport so keeping that in mind, my recommendation would be to get it renewed.

Which agency did you use for FP? Where did you find the list of agencies that do it? I got the FP request in my status tracker yesterday but didn't get the email yet.

Thought of sharing this info. as it might be useful, I met someone yesterday from Scarborough who is a September 2019 applicant and just got the test invite this Monday!

I also spoke with my MPs office who has sent a 2nd follow up to IRCC regarding my application, I should hear back soon.

I am waiting for the Decision Made on the status of my application as well but it seems that IRCC is delaying this phase of the application.

The new dashboard system is designed such that any update will be shown real time first in the tracker. Then I guess it goes into a queue for emails to be sent later. I'm still yet to see any emails as well. Dont worry, you'll get it soon.
