Receiving REQUEST FOR SUBMISSION OF PASSPORT Again - Virtual Landing

Hi,

My application date is 2020 January. I received REQUEST FOR SUBMISSION OF PASSPORT email 2021 mid April, My application was outside Canada but I was in Canada when I received REQUEST FOR SUBMISSION OF PASSPORT. I had changed my address in the applications to Canada long time ago so no problem with that.

In the REQUEST FOR SUBMISSION OF PASSPORT email it was saying:

B) If you are currently in Canada, you are not required to submit your passport and will be landed virtually. Please advise our office via webform within 5 days of receipt of this letter if you and/or any of your dependents are in Canada. Please include each person’s name/UCI and where they are currently staying/residing (in Canada or overseas).

I filled webform for virtual landing within 5 days. Received no answer after that for 2 months. Sent several emails etc. Nothing happened else than some irrelevant or generic answers.

Now I received REQUEST FOR SUBMISSION OF PASSPORT email again!

Does anyone have any idea about what I must do now?

Do the same, submit via webform; if the message you got has a return email address (like the visa office), try that as well; if you don't hear from them in a week, call and/or contact MP for assistance.

Most likely the answer is simple that the first one didn't get attached to your file for some reason, also check carefully (again) the identifying information.

Do we have to attach any files to the webform? Photo passport fee payment document scan etc?

Don't know, shouldln't think so, but if the instructions say, do that.

Nothing is happening. I am planning to go back to Turkey and send my passport to Ankara there. God knows what is going to happen.

Did you email the Visa Office that processed your application? That is what a lot of applicants did and got a response - because the file is then transferred to an office within Canada to help with the landing process.

Visa office in Canada? I never dealed with a visa office in Canada. We called IRCC several times, they say there is nothing they can do and we must wait till Ankara realizes that my file must be transferred to Canada

I came to Canada before we hot the Request for Submission of Passport. Never left Canada after that
