We’re currently testing a new online citizenship application with some applicants (randomly selected).

If you’ve already applied on paper, do not apply online.
We’re working to make sure that more people can apply online in the future.

Anyone online got AOR, yet?

So if you see someone who applied online get AOR they where randomly selected be patient they will come fast once the online process is up to the government standards it take the same Amount of time as paper just need to wait longer for AOR

Well, we would have had better chances if it was random. They dont process any online applications submitted after December 2020.

Well everyone online doesn't go on this website and a lot of people on this website don't even give their information for privacy reasons so trust me just be patient and relax everything will go smoothly eventually the online process should be faster near the end whatever way you look the process is 12 months

I don't think you get an email when your application is in process. you can either check the old or new tracking system

Oh okay. That's what I've been asking for a while. I think a lot of people in this forum also don't know that. That's why they're not updating about their application being 'in progress'.

Anyways, My application status says it's 'in progress'. Background check completed on May 3rd and Last updated on May 4th.

Admin please update my Application in the sheet accordingly. Thank you

thank you for sharing, based on the new system My status changed to “in progress” on April 23.

Can you please login to old ECAS & confirm when your application changed to "In Process"?
