Just disappointed
I fully understand the disappointment. The purpose of this forum and the reason we are here as members is to understand and check on progress of our applications.
However, there is something to be said about being grateful for our status here in Canada. We are PRs of a free and democratic country that has a relatively competent government. We are in the middle of a global pandemic and as residents of Canada we have, on average, done significantly better than most of our countries of origin.
I believe there is an opportunity for us, as beneficiaries of such fortunate circumstances, to exhibit some patience here rather than spread negativity.
Again, each of us have had our own personal struggles in pandemic and many of us, I’m sure, have lost members of our friends and family to the terrible pandemic. By asking to be grateful, I’m not trying to be insensitive to those that have had a terrible time through this tough year and a half. But rather, I’m suggesting that we put our position in perspective. We are far more fortunate that most people in the world and have a constitutional right to live, work and retire in one of the most developed countries in the world. Please give that a thought!
