I messaged them regarding our notes we recently received
Dear Decision Maker,
I am emailing regarding our application for sponsorship for my husband and our kids
I included questions specific to them like...
the other points are very personal so I will leave them out
- The medical exam has now expired for _____ and the girls
- We sent everything the checklist asked for and it seems to outline most of it in the notes, however, the letters from our family were never mentioned... do you have those?
- There have been a few COVID scares at my job and we are wondering how it would affect ______if, God forbid, he got sick and had to be hospitalized without OHIP. Also, if we have to wait another year for a decision, can he be vaccinated? I only mention wait another year as I follow a forum online that has many people waiting for a decision from the Etobicoke office. Even though this is not the case for everyone, it looks like most have been waiting an or are going to be waiting especially now with COVID restrictions, over a year. link to forum: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...ation-transferred-to-etobicoke.574667/page-84
After this email on the 14th of April, I sent 4 more on the 17th out of frustration because the notes said they didn't get enough proof and one thing our application did not lack is proof... when I say out of frustration, I always kept it professional... I just started sending emails/webforms saying here is the additional documents the notes said you require to make a decision.
Not sure if this is a coincidence or not... but I am happy I did not give up or let fear rule me. If I wanted to contact them, I did. If I was impatient, I embraced it... if I was at peace I let it ride... so many people even our rep said we waited so long because I kept bothering them for updates... well we have AIP and got ADR since Friday and he has yet to even contact us... we are waiting to see how long it takes for him to tell us what we already know.
Sorry... just venting
feel happy for you, i am gonna email them too. thanks for your info!
