If you have a common name or last name that matches someone with a criminal record’s, they might ask for one to make sure it’s not you.

It takes around 2-3 weeks to get it, it’s normally included in the processing time.

I personally got one upfront because it could save me 3-4 weeks of processing times and could speed up my criminality/security/background check stage.

When there was the 27k CEC draw, many people requested it at once and RCMP took longer to process them. If the stream fills up quickly there are chances many people will request them later and processing times to obtain them will take longer as well.

On all my documents and canadian drivers license, I got Ottawa address, but my work documents has address of Niagara falls..

I suggest you include a letter of explanation so that the officer doesn't question it.

1) Do you think we'll need upfront medical?
2) Do we need to submit police certificate at the time of application or can we submit it later? Basing this off of other express entry applications.
3) If I have a job offer letter from February 2021 and pay stubs from March and April, is that fine to prove employment or do I need another letter dated May 6th specifically for this?
4) For the graduation letter from my university, I have one dated February 2021, would that work or should I request a new one?

Until we get the application checklist, we won't know for sure. If this stream is processed like PNP, those things are requested later on. If it operates like EE, it'll be required upfront.

A little confusion what is this graduation letter .Is it the completion letter or the degree that is given to you at a convocation

It confirms I completed my degree and have graduated from the university. Same letter I used to apply for PGWP. I have the degree as well separately but dont think they need require that

For those who are adding their spouse to the application? Please help!
Are we supposed to submit application for the spouse under the same account? Or is it like we make two accounts for both and submit?
Also how will the forms be uploaded? Like for example when the principal applicant submits family info, will the spouse submit their seperate family info form but under the same heading or will we need a separate space to upload our spouse's forms?

1 account/application, some forms will be doubled, I mean 1 for each spouse. I suppose the portal will works like the others, pnp, work permits, study permits ecc.

Hi everyone, looking for some suggestions here:

My PGWP is going to expire next year in April, For EE I will be eligible in July this year but i was hoping to apply for this stream. I have my IELTS book for May 20th, Medical and PCC completed by next week. I just want to know should I go for this stream. As no one is sure about proccessing times for the applications under this new stream and my PGWP expires next year but I will not be eligible for BOWP under this program. I am just little confuse between this new program and EE. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
