Looks like its not easy way around the ban. Lets say, you have connecting flight through Heathrow, then you need to produce proof of negative test from London Heathrow/ UK which is your last departure. Technically, you will have to test in the UK. Its risky move... copy paste below from Minister of TransportOnly direct flights. Still can go through indirect routes?
If you are from India you can't enter the UK at the moment. If you are from Pakistan you'll need to get a UK visa and you may need to quarantine in the UK for 10 days and then get a PCR test in order to get to Canada. Most airports do not offer PCR tests in the airport especially in the transit area so you'll need enter the UK which involves visas, potential quarantine, etc.Looks like its not easy way around the ban. “Alghabra said air passengers who depart from India or Pakistan but arrive in Canada via a third country will need to produce a negative result on a COVID-19 test taken at their last point of departure before being allowed to enter Canada.”
or they even allow flights, if cases are controlled. How long do you think this ban will last? mentioned 30 days or extended for few years?
Man...my Schengen and US visa expired a few months ago.I am going back via turkey from Pakistan. Really easy if you have a U.S visa, can get an e-visa for turkey get tested at their airport and take the next flight to Canada. Not sure about India.
Just checked, Turkey is one of the few that actually has a PCR tests facility at the airport.I am going back via turkey from Pakistan. Really easy if you have a U.S visa, can get an e-visa for turkey get tested at their airport and take the next flight to Canada. Not sure about India.
What if you end up testing +ve in Turkey?Just checked, Turkey is one of the few that actually has a PCR tests facility at the airport.
I think it's up to Turkish government. You likely cannot continue your jounary. There is always a risk to travel through another country. What if you end up testing +ve in Turkey?

I didn't keep up with what's going on in Turkey. I just post because someone claimed that can be done there and I wanted to verify.
You need to test -ve before the flight to Turkey as well.
As of December 30, 2020, passengers arriving in Turkey are required to submit a negative PCR test (nucleic acid). The sample for the test must have been taken within 72 hours prior to the passenger's scheduled departure from the country of origin.
I am sure more countries will try to close the loop hole as being a hub for travelling from India to other countries that has implemented travel restrictions.Copy paste from Turkish Airlines website
To the attention of passengers who visited India within the last 10 days and arriving to Turkey:
- As of April 22, 2021, all passengers arriving to Turkey who visited India within the last 10 days will be quarantined for 14 days at places selected by the Turkish official authorities following their arrival. On the 14th day of the quarantine period, passengers are required to undergo a second PCR test and if the test result is negative, the isolation period will end.
- Passengers of 6 years and older who have ben to India within the last 10 days are required, before boarding, to submit a negative PCR test result with a sample collected within the last 72-hours prior to departure.
