Hi @legalfalcon
I received AOR in October 2019 and I'm an Ontario nominee (FSW, PNP, outland). My application is approved however, I'm yet to receive PPR.
Could you please help me out here, my question is, if I get married before moving to Canada or getting PPR, how it is going to affect my nomination? Do I have to inform the Province after marriage? Also, what documents would IRCC ask in such scenarios?

Many thanks in advance.
It will have no effect on your nomination. You will have to inform IRCC, and submit your spouse's documents. IF you family composition changes post eligibility, your eligibility will not be done again and thus will have to effect on your CRS or nomination.

Thank you @legalfalcon . Good to know that adding spouse will have no effect on nomination.
If they don't touch eligibility again, will CIC ask for updated proof funds after adding spouse?

YEs, you will have to provide an updated PoF to take into account the new added family member. However, if your PoF already meets it, no need to provide a new updated PoF.

Is there any hope for FSW outland applicants this year?? It has been excruciating past few months with all the waiting and no news from IRCC about applications being in process!

I've lost my hope with my CEC inland application bud) I'm already thinking about withdrawing it and applying again, since few friends of mine who applied in August of 2020 already received their cards.

Hi guys, @caipsnotes @legalfalcon

Just realised my medicals have changed from 'Medical Passed June 2020' to 'We are reviewing the results of your medical exam' in my CIC profile. Mind you, this is a re-medical that I had completed in April 2020 and they confirmed they had received it in June 2020 hence the 'Medical Passed June 2020'. My question is, what are the chances of being ordered to take a 3rd Medical exam? Has anyone here been told to go for a 3rd Medical? This has been so frustrating and I hope that won't be the case. Look forward to your responses

Hi @legalfalcon

My fear came true, my status changed again from, 'We are reviewing the result of your medical exam' to 'We have requested a medical exam. Check your messages below for details' with an accompanying Medical Examination Instructions letter in the inbox. This becomes my third medical in total with the first being an Upfront Medical and the other two being re-medicals. This is so frustrating, I was expecting an extension at least since I have already gone for a re-medical last year.

My question is, what are the chances of a rejection, if they keep on sending me to re-medical? Bear in mind, my last CBSA notes show Eligibility, Criminality, and Security as PASSED. I just can't bear to think that after spending money on a total of 3 medicals, with two being re-medicals that they would go on to reject my application again when they could have done it earlier without wasting my time and money. What do you think?

PS: I'm also now seriously considering withdrawing my application

Some checks like medicals, criminality and security have a shelf life. When they expire, or will expire in case of medicals before a decision can be made on your application, or before you can travel to Canada, the check is done again.

In case of medicals, it is the IRCC heath branch that makes a decision on whether to extend or ask for a re-med. If a re-med has been requested, unless you are medically inadmissible, your application cannot be rejected given that you have passed Eligibility, Criminality, and Security.

Also, first check whether you current meds are still valid and for how long. If they are valid for more than 6 months, then you can send a webform and ask IRCC for a clarification.

I can understand bro. I don't know why they don't process files in the order they receive it.

Thanks @legalfalcon , unfortunately my re-medical was done in April 2020, so it's expired as well. It's so frustrating that I have to go for a 3rd medical but what to do. I have no choice!

Hi @legalfalcon

I am planning to visit US for about 45 days in June. If get ppr while I am in US, would it be possible to submit my passport there? Do you have information regarding such a situation?
