I don't know why IRCC is putting everyone under stress, as -

1. Almost everyone (90% Plus) is qualified for these programs if given proper time to have IELTS, PCC, Medical ready.
2. IRCC wants to meet annual quota, Temporary people want PR. It's a win-win situation.
3. Language requirement is so low that it's a wastage of time and $300+ spent on an IELTS test.

I mean why go through all this paper work, unnecessary stress, wait time when you can simply say all international graduates are PR now from today onwards. Imagine the amount of clarifications required for 6 new streams, staff working on stupid unproductive work, paper wastage.

Also anyone (100%) of people who stepped out of their homes during pandemic should be classified as essential workers, nobody in their right mind would not work from home if given a choice, but students generally don't get such jobs on PGWP.

Amen brother!

You don't need medical or PCC for May 6th.
They need the requirements that were mentioned, IELTS and Completion letter etc, or work experience.

Anyone has a thought for this?

They mentioned you must have attained the degree/ PG diploma certificate in hand, prior to processing your application or entering in this stream. I don't have a source but yes! it's needed.
I'm not sure if IRCC would require those documents on May 6th. Anyways, If you can take a look at that page where IRCC mentioned the international student's section u would surely see that mentioned in the requirement. Apart from where it says " u had have been on a valid study permit when u took the course" and a bunch of other requirements. I suggest you go through that once.

Super great and well-explained video. Thanks for posting.

You can't apply if you don't have the documents needed. Desperate or not there is a document checklist that needs to be filled, whether it's proof of employment, degree, or language test results. It's like with express entry, you can't create a profile and get in the pool unless eligible. If they slip through and are ineligible, that would be lying and can have catastrophic impacts on their future in Canada.

I hope every honest person gets through. Within the month is a good amount of time for many to prepare.
i have two 1 year postgraduate certificates (1 year program from marketing and 1 year program from another marketing). I am currently working in Canada and I already have my ielts.
Am I eligible for this program? In another way, Does people who got postgraduate certificates are eligible for this program?
On the policy, it says:
Is your Canadian degree an Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree of at least 8 months in duration?

I don't have bachelor or master's or doctorate from Canada. I only got 2 post graduate certificates. Each were 8 months.

Agree, which in that case if you have 1560 hours in essential NOC as mentioned, you should be fine.

I believe it's valid for international student streams with 2 years of Canadian post-secondary

Conditions (eligibility requirements) applicable to principal applicants
Have been granted one of the following credentials, following the completion of a program study from an eligible institution as defined in:
  • For diplomas/certificates/attestations, each program of study must be at least 8 months in duration and the combined length of the credential(s) must be equivalent to a two-year credential (at least 16 months in duration).

I do not see anything been mentioned about 1-year of experience or hours. I stress on the part where they mentioned "granted"

Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong !!

So if we book an upfront medical exam before May 6th can we use it? I read that the medical exams are valid for 12 months. If I book one before May can I also use the same results 6 months later if I cannot apply for this program?
Also, in the booking it asks which type of exam I want. There is permanent residence and express entry types. Which one should I choose?

What I said was, if you don't have the completion letter, or credential, then you can apply under essential worker stream.

You need to be on payroll and has to be your current job
He needs to have

I'm a graduate student with a PGWP. When I studied, I also worked part-time in an essential occupation for three years (I still work there) and in these 3 years, I have accumulated more than 1560 hours. Do I qualify for the Essential Workers' stream? The wording of the website is a little confusing and ambiguous. I was wondering if you have the answer to this. Thanks

Hi! I'm trying to get my PCC and medical but I'm not sure if I can get them before May 6th. Is there anything in the public policy that mentions we can submit these two documents later?

I was expecting to apply at the end of the year, so the short time frame is really setting me on edge and I feel like I'm misunderstanding the rules.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Heylo Everyone

I'm in Ottawa, can anyone guide me how to apply for PCC india for this new policy, BLS ottawa doesn't accept pcc application without ITA or letter from employer (job purpose).

Cheers

People nowadays complain about everything. Back then before Covid, who would have thought ppl with low point could have chances to apply thought EE ? Now the government seem like giving away PR to people who graduated and been working.
If you are not qualified, try to find a job or book an English test because you will have a chance in the future. Stop crying or being jealous to who are qualified.

He needs to have

If you are still working and you have a 2 year certificate, you will be qualified for another program. No need to have 1 year experience. Not sure about the new program requirements but I think experience while you're students wont be counted

Yes, it lasts 12 months. I'm not sure what to choose though. Can't you just tell the center it is an upfront medical?
