Some applicants from AOR OCT have started to see their approval decision in their Mycic account, so i expect 4 months from biometrics.

However there is no such standard reference, there is no constant rule.
Just allow some time and your application will yield sooner or later.

Thanks Bacelor ... that indicative number helps!

Recently got an email stating that progress bar has been removed from my account. There could be some delays due to COVID related travel restrictions and they are preferring few other categories for processing.

Although status bar was a simple fill - basis the time lapsed - but it had a upper cap, by when it should all be completed. Now, that is gone as well and thus checking here.

Did anyone else got the similar response and / or any reading between the lines here - related to my profile.

Thanks!

Same happened with my profile too.

But the disappearance of the progress bar aside, several experienced users on the forum have mentioned that it's pretty much useless because it is not a concrete indicator. Even with the bar in place, applications routinely exceed the timeline.

Instead of the useless countdown timer, it would be better if they provide a realistic timeline including all factors.

Number of PPRs issued (reported) by years & Months:

As you can see there is a drastic decrease in the number of PPRs, hopefully 2021 will be better.

By months, there was a spike in October and November, but still short of high records of Jan, Feb and partially March 2020.

Looks like a seriois amt of backlog... they invited around 1lakh people in last 1 yr and it looks only 2-3%got PR

Hello,

I have applied for my PR application on Dec 8th 2020 waiting for a CoPR. My status on medical and biometric completed and updated on IRCC on January 15th 2021. I need to know how long the process is taking as I have to go to India due to ongoing stress and being unable to visit india for 6 years. (18 when landed)

Moreover, i have applied under LMIA under open PGWP. My employer is exploiting me and I just want to leave and go for couple of months to ease up. Any suggestions what can be done. Please guys really need your assistance. My LMIA expires on May 2021. What option(s) do I have if any.

Maybe, just maybe, there's something we don't and won't get to know with respect to the actual number of ITAs issued out relative to the reported number. 10% to me, if correct, is actually a staggeringly low ratio!

Can we call IRCC and get update on our file while it's still within the 6 months since AOR?
