AOR Feb 26, 2021
Medical: Passed (March 12, 2021)
Biometric: Passed (March 15, 2021)
Criminality: Started
Eligibility and Security - Not Started
VO - sydney nova scotia

I have a quick questions:
1.Does background check consist of 2 things? (Criminality and Security)
2.normally, criminality even started before eligbility passed?
Wow, that’s good! I called today, and she said that they only did an initial review; however, nothing has started as of now. My aor’s was February 24

Did you answer “yes” to any stat question? I read that complex cases go to Montreal.
Not sure if it is 100% true. @legalfalcon could you please tell us based on your experience?
I had USA visa refusal that I have mentioned. I do not see anything complex in that. I have my spouse in Canada that I non-accompanied but gave an explanation after talking to an IRCC agent.

Complex cases or who answered “yes” to any stat question go to Montreal (which in fact take more time to process PR)
