In general, once they are tax residenants here, they file their own tax return.Hello everyone, does anyone know what benefits have our parents had when we sponsor them for 20 years. Also when we do our Tax return, do we include them under our return, or they have to do their own Tax return. Thank you!
I think there is some tax credit if they are diabled and you provide them with major care, food, housing..etc and you are the main caregiver to them.
They can't be just old. The requirement is physical or mental impairment .
