Well, I mean they both sound the same. I also dont know which is a better status PS-Review (Meaning review going on ?); Or PS-Ready (meaning what? Review can be started? OR does it mean review is done and the file is ready?). Not sure of anything. My Security says Not started in GCMS. What does your say? On GCKey nothing is completed, even to another person who is in DM, which is funny. So, the GCKey status is full bogus.

I know I can be patient and it will move. But am very interested to understand these terms.

When we call IRCC, an agent accesses GCMS and lets us know the status. I think it is not updated when security starts but when security is done. GCMS seems to be updated whenever a result comes out.

Not true. The agents say when security is in progress. GCMS always shows things that are in progress. Eg info sharing. Last time it showed criminality in progress in my GCMS. Now it shows passed. Not only that, the process is shown for each applicant separately.

No they won't send any scanned copies of documents (they never sent me atleast). They only send what it says - GCMS "Notes". Confidential notes are removed before sharing. General notes are shared.

So all the outlands are in PS-Ready or PS-Review with security not started. Hope this changes and there will be a wave of pending application DM. All I want is a DM. The CoPR will surely follow some day. Not too bothered .

I raised webform to update my country of residence to Canada. While my address in GCMS was correct Canadian address, my Country of Residence is marked as US still. Let's see if I get promoted to Inland.

This is ONLY applicable to the applicants with an employment offer. And the OID stream should move on as normal. However, it indicates a hope for the OID applicants that their applications might be expedited. Anyhow I wish all applicants best of luck and we all should get our PR as soon as possible Inshallah.

Yes, almost the same. The only thing i concern is that you had medical request early. I didn’t have MR, i did medical upfront (but passed on Feb2, 2021).
I saw some cases that had MR, passed Medical very soon after submitting. I hope you’ll be like that

send them a webform with your UCI number (this can be found on your work permit) on that so they can locate and add the additional document to your application.
1- they will add it
2- if the document is important, they might mark your application as incomplete and send it back after 3month
3- if the document is not important, they just do a complete check, give you the AOR with Application number, ask you to link it online, then ask for Additional Document, this time you will submit via GC key online.

I've been there before (missed 1 document as Spouse Background Declaration), they just asked for it. We scanned and sent them online.

Please find the following sentences in the link. I don't know whether an agent can talk to us in detail on the call.

"The status will change to "In Progress" when the processing of the Eligibility Review starts."
"In GCMS, usually Security does not show as "In Progress"; it will be "Not Started" or it will be blank if security screening is underway or completed."

how many GCMS that you order. can you clarify each one? Ex.
1st GCMS (date) - response date - Criminality in progress
2nd GCMS (date) - response date - Criminality passed

Does anyone have any clue about the time IRCC often do Ghost update in a day? I'm just tired checking GC Key every hour for silly GUs haha.
