Hey all,

On Jan 20th I received a series of GU, upon phoning IRCC a few days later they said I have passed everything. The file was also transferred to Newfoundland VO for final processing.

Since then no updates on GC Key, so I ordered GCMS (Feb 9th) and phoned IRCC today. They informed me that I have “passed in principle” and next step is an email confirming DM.

Anyways today I logged into ECAS for the first time (been using GC exclusively until now). Noticed DM on ECAS. Is this normal for ECAS to show stuff GC Key is lagging on? My GC Key has basically no updates except MP. So I suspect nobody is entering stuff on that portal.

Hoping for that DM email soon... and a speedy COPR. No idea if the VO is working from home, or if it’s one of the slower offices. Any insights there would be appreciated.

Thanks
There is no DM email. It just shows on ECAS (updated only once a day). You will directly get a COPR in GCKey (is realtime they say). Expect it soon if you are inland. Folks with DM did wait 3 months to get the COPR. So, be patient. There is very little to nothing that can go wrong now AFAIK.

By the way, congrats.

Inland aor jan 6th. Almost 6 weeks waiting for biometric letter. contacted ircc few times they give me same reply every time that officer will send the letter when they wants. Is anyone in same boat ??
If you're inland, you probably should have a valid Bio.....and therefore exempted. I am outland and waiting for Bion since the 12th of Jan

Congratulation on your DM. This is the sequence after Medical Pass.
1. DM: Ghost Update @GCKEY and one day later, Change In Progress to Decision Made @ECAS
2. COPR: DM to Complete @ECAS, Notice @GCKEY and Email.
Perfect, thanks for the info!
I really did not know the difference between ECAS and GC Key until today. Weird how they operate with two systems like that.

Thanks! Yep I am inland, so hoping for a speedy COPR now. Really good to know that DM has no email, one less thing to keep an eye out for.

Hi Guys,
Looking for some suggestion regarding PCC. My PCC was issued from India on February 2020 & I submitted my Paper PR application on 24th July 2020 thats my AR date with that old PCC.

So, can someone confirm the validity of the PCC is it 1 year or 6 Months. As, I have heard either version of it.
I received my AOR in January 2021, also meanwhile I also got another PCC issued from India in December 2020 fearing the previous one is expired.

Now, should I send it through webform to IRCC myself on my own or wait for IRCC to ask as ADR(additional document request) to submit new PCC,
which I don't know when they will ask for!

Need your helpful inputs here. Any thought/suggestion what should I do.

Thanks,
