What means 'approval in principle' and 'eligibility in most main senses'?
I get it 8 febrery and still nothing. Waiting.Thank a lot!
Did any one here had a recent experience with Warsaw VO and get pre-arrival? How long did it take to move to the next step?
Thank you!I get it 8 febrery and still nothing. Waiting.
I applyed 8 march 2020. Didn't get any additional documents.Thank you!
When did you apply if I can ask?
Did they request any additional documents before you got pre-arrival?
We've actually done it twice (long story that's not relevant). Both times was about two weeks - not accounting for minor delays. Since the VAC seems to not work all days or at least not handle these every day, varies a bit. They had a backlog in the fall that seems to be more under control now.Did anyone recently issued visa in Canadian Embassy in Moscow via VAC?
How long does it take now?
Thank you! We've actually done it twice (long story that's not relevant). Both times was about two weeks - not accounting for minor delays. But note: if there's any issue such as missing forms/ photos the wrong size, it will get drawn out. Make sure they have the right contact info, they are not very diligent in checking. And call/chat with VAC before submitting - best several times - as the info on website is NOT reliable. (But should be easier if you are submitting just one passport not several). In particular there are TWO consent forms that must be signed and submitted.
Interestingly the second time we submitted it turned out that the visa had been printed in Warsaw not Moscow. I presume that added a few days but it wasn't noticeably longer (presumably backlog cleared).
Of course if you are booking flights based on when you expect to get it back, wait and/or book tickets that you can change. Mistakes do happen and it could take longer.
I think getting it in a couple of weeks is realistic. Perhaps three with some buffer. But you'll have to decide - obviously would be safer to do an additional medical and have the room in case of flight or other issues coming up.Thank you!
I am talking about PR visa.
Our medical is valid until April 1st, and they asked if we prefer another medical or that validity of visa will be until April 1st.
The concerns is that passport may not arrive until April 1st in the case of delays
Nice, when did you submit your application?Landed today at YYZ. Smooth process. Lufthansa airline from Frankfurt to Toronto. Took the mandatory covid test and now home with my family. Good luck to everyone.
