I'm not sure what you're asking exactly - are you sure you need a leave letter at all? She submits employment letter, and if it gets approved, it's her issue whether she gets leave or not.
No, I'm not really sure about the requirement for a leave letter. I was just thinking what makes the application stronger. Having a leave letter implies she is on leave and will resume work upon return. But it's probably not possible to get a leave approved 6 months in advance. That too without specific dates.
I do not know for certain but unless IRCC specifically suggests or requires a leave letter, then don't overthink it. From their perspective, the key is whether she has a job she is likely to return to. (I don't have any information about how they will evaluate her specific file)
Once issued a visa, it is her responsibility to obtain leave from her employer; ultimately IRCC does not much care if she can't get leave and doesn't end up coming to visit.
That said, if for some reason you think it strengthens the application to get a letter specifying that they will give her exactly, say, two months to visit her husband, then by all means, provide it.
The other side of the coin is that if they don't believe that her employment is sufficiently compelling for her to return at the end of her visit, then I doubt a leave letter will make much difference.
I don't think so unless their first assessment is completed by an officer and their AOR are on the way out. A lot of people will tell you the same since it is not possible to link the file without the completeness.
Hi Friends. I am on FB spousal groups. Just joined here. Outland file rec 17 Sept 2020. No update as of now. Need your suggestions. Here is the scenario. Sponsor became PR in 2019 and lived in canada only for a week. Went back to Canada in Aug 2020 and filed for outland spousal in sept 2020. Didnt put NOA 2019 as sponsor was not eligible for (AS PER ONE OF THE AGENT OF CRA INFORMED ). Just provided letter of financial support and other financial documents in outland file. Do tou think app got returned ? Thanks.
Updated: Sponsor got job in Nov 2020 and sent Offer letter, pay slips via web form through temp number of file.

We didnt put NOA as sponsor was not eligible for taxes in 2019. Sponsor became pr in aug 2019 and lived in canada for a week so.
When you submit your application, if you did not provide NOA, it is written in the checklist that you should provide a letter of explanation on why no NOA is available and show other financial proof that you can support your spouse. There are quite a number of sponsors who just moved to Canada and got a job and are sponsoring their spouses and do not have NOA as they have not filed taxes in Canada yet.
