Hello guys,

My wife used to work for an employer for 3 years and we have mentioned it in the EE profile.

My wife received her salary in cash as her sponsorship was not on the company. We live in the GCC.

We have managed to ger a reference letter from the employer with all the detailed information but unable to get anything else.

Will that be okay? Do we need to explain anything in the LOE?

Thank you

If I am not wrong reference letter is all you need. Payslip is a plus if you have it. I am only uploading payslips for 2 out of 4 employers I worked for.

You should be ok with the reference letter. If you like then you can ask the employer to include that her salary was X AMOUNT and was paid in cash. In 2017 when my application was being processed, the visa office actually called my employer.

The salary amount is written in the reference letter but not mentioning that it was paid in cash. I think this should be explained in the LOE, what do you think?

If you have pay stubs and have any income tax document for your wife then you don't even need to mention in cash.
