Hi
My husband lives in sydney, australia, and i’m in canada
Application received- feb 25, 2020
Medical request- sept 27
Medical received and passed- dec 15
biometrics received- sept 28
Now my husband’s file has been transferred to beijing, does anyone have any information regarding this?
Thank you
Is your husband an Australian citizen living in Australia? If so, I find that curious, though like armoured said, they do seem to be offloading files due to workload.

Just interesting since files from Australia and New Zealand typically seem to go to Mississauga, Ottawa, or if outside Canada then they go to Sydney, Australia I believe is the other one.

Has anyone applied for a visitor visa while waiting for spousal sponsorship and managed to get it approved? Do you mind sharing what was the reason you included in your invitation letter that convinced the visa officer to approve visitor visa? Thanks!

Has anyone faced this kind of situation??

My husband has received a passport request on December 31st,2020. He sent his passport on a same day. It has been three weeks but we haven’t got any updates.
Does that take really this long to stamp the passport and return it with COPR?

Anyone who's file is NDVO got any update recently? I got a letter that my file will move to NDVO sometime in Oct but have no way to confirm it did reach NDVO.. I am starting to lose my sleep over this now.. :( CIC does not take calls.. ECAS for PA still shows in process... Does NDVO respond to webforms? is it a good time to order GCMS notes?
Hi ,
Mine was similar scenario .On Oct 14 had received letter stating file will be transferred to NDVO. When I called IRCC in Dec , they said the file was just transferred the prev day of my call . [approx Dec 1st week] . After a long wait (no response to webforms send to delhi) , today I noticed that the ECAS portal status changed to "Application Received" [Equivalent to AOR2 , since NDVO doesn't have a pattern of sending AOR emails explicitly]. You should track ECAS daily , i believe the application received status in ECAS does not stay that way , it will soon change to In process .

Here is the website you can order notes, but only if you are permanent resident or canadian citizen otherwise they will not send you a notes.

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/privacyTerms.do

Its free if you request notes under privacy act.

I hope this helps.

My ecas changes as well recently to application received. Hoping that means the file is finally at nvdo and they will start working on it soon.

I'm not 100% certain - I think the mentions disappeared from our page after copr issued - but since those are now irrelevant I wouldn't worry about it.[/QUOTE]
