Ohh my God! That's a very long time! This forum has thought me something: "Never complain because there is someone somewhere who is in a very worse situation compared to mine!" I consider myself the luckiest! Waited for 3 months and I got a call from my lawyer that my hearing was in 2 months! Meanwhile, I have a friend who did not even get a hearing: As we were waiting, she received IRB notice that she was accepted, no hearing!
Yea there is always certain amount of unfair... and it doesn’t always depend on the IRB member or an officer ... the good thing is canada accepted those who were in need of protection. And that’s up to asylum seekers how to use this time of wait. We can study, work and gain experience, build our lives... wish everyone all the best :)

My bar achieved 100% before 9 months , just last month status changed to DM still waiting for COPR, such a long journey
It has been a long journey, I dont know why it take that long to get the copr if we have a dm! does it mean the background check is not completed yet !
