Plus now when I check the IRCC website after the 23rd December update I don't find them mentioning of authorization letter anywhere. Experts on this forum, please look into this and help me out.

posting it again:
Hello @13nitinsharma , @whyCorona @crackMBA
Now I am in a very weird situation. I need your input on this. Here are the details.
I am living in Canada and my COPR expired. dint do my landing .
My dependent (wife and daughter) lives in India. Their COPR also expired.
As all out PR approved prior to March 18, we are exempted to travel.
after lot of follow up on RTT, i got remedical request for my wife alone on Dec 21st. and that was done and application was updated as "Passed" on 23rd.
Today I received AL only for my wife and daughter. Prior to issue AL, i received a call from the case officer and she confirmed that she is going to issue AL to my wife and daughter alone as i am inside Canada and she does the same in 15 min after i had a call with her.
I asked that i am also expecting AL as i dint do my landing yet and as a primary applicant , i have to do my landing 1st. But she refused to do that and told that absolutely not need to go out and do the landing in the case i am now inside canada. after i explained Borderclosed and In-person Interview cancelled situation, she said she will discuss with her supervior and call me back. After 15min later, she called me again and told that, she checked with her supervisor and she/he confirmed that , i will be getting virtual landing within next 60 days or the day when my family landed in the Airport, that office will call and do the virtual landing for my self as well on the same day. So she strongly told that she is not going to issue AL and she said it is our problem/process to making sure that you all do your landing and absolutely the immigration officer at Airport is not going to return back your family members and she disconnected the call.

i dont remember anyone in this group had this situation, i really dont know what to do. I have the end date till March 11,20201 and my counterfail still not updated yet. Please help me and provide me your input. Thanks. :(
Right now the priority of IRCC is to make expired CoPRs to land in Canada. Since you are already in Canada then I am not sure why you are looking for AL. It seems that if you have a COPR then IRCC is gonna grant you PR status over the email maybe at later point of time or come out with something.

You should focus more on welcoming your wife and daughter as they have received the ALs for travelling.

I called IRCC yesterday and spoke with an agent who verified all my information. I explained my case that I've received counter foil in my gckey on 7th Jan and haven't gotten the AL. She said that the new counter foil update is enough for you to travel. Don't wait for the authorisation letter.
Are you sure? Has anybody in this group done that?

Progress bar in my gc key account disappeared and final decision still says "in progress". I have AL but no GCkey update yet. same happened with someone else?

@Froshy who travelled recently was not asked about his AL while boarding the flight but his AL was verified by the immigration officials at port of entry. Another thing, the 4th pointer email mentions that do not travel without written authorisation.

IMO, one should wait to get clear instructions from IRCC.

will the airlines allow ppl with only counterfoil details on our online portal, i think they need an actual travel authorization letter to allow us to board.

Hi,

Please can you give me the telephone number you used to call.

In latest 7 pointer email they have also mentioned about the travel document need to carry issued by IRCC. So AL is must for travel but if somebody can check with AirIndia or AC that would be more helpful

I did receive an email from IRCC but it just stated that they have updated my status and that was it.
