Quick question, are you aware if IRCC contacted the offices you worked in?
I am not aware of that unfortunately. :)
Hi. I have a quick question. Anyone did upfront medical ? Curious to know how to know the results. I still didn’t submit the documents as not aware of medical results. Pleas help.
I just wanna jump in here. I don't know why everyone is saying you upload anything for medicals. There is nothing to be uploaded. Your UMI number is linked to your profile in the eMedical system the panel physician and IRCC use. All your results are sent directly to IRCC by the doctor, and you don't need to do anything other than go have the tests done. If, like me, you want to know the results after you've done an upfront medical exam, you will need to go back to the doctor after a few days presumably (so that the results have time to come back to them), and ask them for a print out of your full eMedical form. That's what I did. I just called them to make sure they'd be ready for me to collect at reception. Hope that helps. :)

In exceptional circumstances, IRCC may accept
  • proof that a medical appointment is scheduled; or
  • a letter of explanation of best efforts.
However, these are not a guarantee of acceptance.
Individuals who must submit this documentation

  • The principal applicant
  • Their spouse or common-law partner
  • Their dependent children, including non-accompanying

Actually your information is incorrect. On the document checklist and even cic website, all applicants are required to upload the information printout sheet given at the clinic.

It is always important to follow what’s on the website and not personal experiences from other applicants.

“When the panel physician completes the medical exam, they will give you an:

  • information printout sheet
  • IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form
You must provide a copy of these documents when you apply online.”

I genuinely don't remember uploading a copy of that. Although it was over half a year ago. :D

Best advice is to follow the document checklist. At least the EE system is set up in such a way that it's user-friendly.

If you don't remember, send a Web form and update ASAP. People get rejected for merely skipping to update ECA. Maybe that's why your application is taking time. Please do so while you can.

Hey guys! A very happy new year to you all. I have a few questions if someone could help me with.

1) I have a few entry/exit stamps in arabic. Now do I need to translate those? Is it required?

2) My passport expired in Sept 2019 and I renewed it, however, I have not travelled anywhere on my new passport. All my ten year travel stamps are in the old one. Do I scan all the pages of old passport and attach as well?

Your clarification will be much appreciated!

Thank you!

i would scan all the pages in the old passport. Regarding translation, I don’t think you would need to translate immigration stamps. My take though.
