PPR delays due to covid-19

What should i do then to know the current status.. i have ordered GCMS in July and the status was
Eligibility - Recommended Interview
Security - not started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
ORG Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:

I got the exact same message in mid-Nov.
VO- CPC Ottawa.
Really hope Ottawa starts processing files..
every other VO seems to be processing some files in Jan atleast...

For the moment I hope that they will start generating the GCMS noted that I asked ad the beginning of October, lol!
The only thing we can do is wait. And eventually call to express our concern.

In my case Background check is in progress from past 3 months, rest all the status is in completed/pass state, it's really putting stress as it's been 9 months now.

Same, criminality in progress since March. I am pretty sure that it is just that they do not have officers working on our application. As soon as they do they should clear background checks in weeks.

When does the winter break end? When will file processing hopefully start again?

Also, with rising cases, it seems Ottawa is preparing for a 28-day lockdown...

Isn’t the lockdown already continuing till 23rd Jan? Ontario went on lockdown I believe a day after Christmas.

From what I read somewhere that IRCC is an essential service. But as far as processing of files is concerned, I’m wondering if it’s all linked with the travel restrictions and especially the 18th March rule.

I have no travel restrictions being in US (if I receive the CoPR, of course), but my application is not being processed. I believe that travel restrictions are not the reason why files are not processed.
