No passport referrences

I don't have references for passport because have no friends and don't know doctors or other professionals that know me 2 years because I never lived in one place for long and don't go to professionals much. is there any solution?

What's the max amount of time somebody has known you for?

Try to find people who have known you even off and on, might be able to work.

Were you working somewhere these past few years? Maybe some people at the workplace?

Less than a year and I'm not close to them it's just people that have seen and talked to me in the last year. I work in freelance and don't work with other people. Other countries don't ask for references, why does Canada ask for references and other countries don't? is there any solution if you don't have references?

There might be some solution. You might ask around more. I am not personally aware of such a situation though.
