I don't think so. Yesterday they had some issues with their website. Based on past couple of weeks anytime they have system issues/outages people see ghost updates. If they were working 7 days a week that would mean they're issuing copr on weekends too.

I don't think so. Yesterday they had some issues with their website. Based on past couple of weeks anytime they have system issues/outages people see ghost updates. If they were working 7 days a week that would mean they're issuing copr on weekends too.
I've had webform response on a Saturday. The only time I had emails during an outage was last week during that massive bad gateway error, that lasted for a few days, and I had those on a monday.
While it's understandable that a lot of us are frustrated about how long the process is taking, I think some of the negative reactions are unwarranted. There is still a due process that has to be followed and these agents working are humans like ourselves. All work places both in the private sector and government have challenges. I see some of the reactions on how long the process is taking and granted it is taking too long but, Patience is a Virtue. Instead of focusing on the negatives why not remember that it has been a long and highly unpredictable year and our applications are still being processed gradually and not being put on a complete hold until further notice?
I also see people complaining about ITA's still being sent out while we are still waiting, put yourselves in the shoes of those who have also been in the pool for some time. They also deserve some sort of news, don't they?
Mind you I've been in Canada for 7 years (as an intl student and foreign worker) also and my AOR was at the beginning of March. There are people that have been here longer and are also in the same position. There is a reason why we all want to get this PR, it could vary from person to person but still that is our common goal currently. This is an opportunity and not a "right" as foreigners. Please be sensitive to the fact that the negativity and disrespectful attitude can affect others. It comes across as being arrogant. Let's keep things light and show support to each other and not come off as ungrateful. Love and light

You are spot on. It is frustrating to see so many complaints about the timeline, the extension, the delays, and the total inconsideration of the reason behind it. I knock it down to the "Me! Me! There is a pandemic going on and we're in it together. Applications that are straightforward, not missing a single piece of document, not needing any ADR, and doesn't flag anything in background or security, will be processed faster than those who are not straight forward. Same with those who are frontline workers such as health care providers. There is no "first come first serve". My AOR is July 31 and I have seen people with AOR in august and September receive COPR, while mine is still processing. I'm not a health care provider, nor is my application straight forward due to reasons beyond my control, so I sit back and wait. If mine gets through before my 6 months are up, than that's a huge effing bonus, as far as I am concerned.
Everyone complaining about the delays, take a dang chill pill, for crying out loud.

you are free to share your views and so is everyone without any direction from any one. We are not in 100% perfect world so most of the times people will have some issues. So I believe the feedback shared here should be embraced. none of us are contesting elections that we only talk positives. If there is something not going efficiently we have some basic rights to talk here.
lastly, people on forum are learned ones and such people generally discuss and put across their problems and not jump on streets raising slogans, when you discuss there will be negatives coming out.

hey there!I received my eCOPR on November 20. My AOR is April 3.
address was accepted a week after uploading to the portal, however, my photo is still under review.
i’ve been a permanent resident since November 20 but i have no idea when i’ll receive my PR Card. That’s not worrying me at this point because i’m not going to be travelling any time soon.

I would like to work as Visa officer once I get my citizenship. And then, I will check this forum and immediately approve visa for those waiting the longest
i am glad some one gave a thought to people here. But honestly the officers are given targets and once they achieve they just stop working,
I loved reading the posts on this thread, especially the last few ones. I respect all of the officers, everything that they are doing, it just gets hard when you've been in a country for 5 years, haven't seen my family for the past 3years, mom was going to come this year at the gate of the airport she was stopped and has to go back as I am not a PR... and she couldn't travel.because of these reasons I am sad..and depressed. I am patiently waiting but just said to be stuck in this loophole of spending my days waiting and waiting every single day in hopes to get a good news in my email account. It just gets so hard. I mean, I am a single applicant, 1 job 1 year, NOCB, studied in Canada, degrees from Canada, I was asked for RCMP, provided it in 1 week of them asking..I'd like to think my application is straightforward but I guess they dont look at it the same way I do.
sorry to hear that, i can see that you have valid reason to worry about, still many so called IRCC defenders will start typing lectures for no reason.

Don't worry, this shall pass and once you have PR, you wont think much about this time.
What keeps me going is this forum. People are genuinely helping each other and it's a safe place to rant out the frustration. So don't take anything seriously and have patience.
