When did you send you PCC and Biometrics before you got request for passport ?

PCC and medical was done and approved in Feb 2020. Bio was done much earlier ~ sep 2019. I am mid may 2019 applicant.

Hello everyone,
my question is about parents medical and your inputs will be really helpful.

My parents are 63 and are healthy with only thing as below:
2 years back my mother underwent surgery for benign tumor (non cancerous) and it only needs surgery for removal. She took medicine for sometime for blood clots post surgery and is good after that.
Has anyone had similar experience? and any inputs will be helpful.

yes, the person comes home. If you go to the vfs website, all the details are there. About the procedure and teh step by step process. the email ID is also found there.

-You will receive sponsorship approval letter after decision is made on your sponsorship application stating visa office.
-You parent will be able to do medicals in Canada if they receive IME request.

I ordered the GCMS and received it last week. It seems all passed (eligibility, criminal, security, info sharing), the medical passed and expired, just waiting for "medical reassessment". I guess it means no need to redo the medical exam, but for healthy officer to reassess the previous IME and extend it.
Any idea how long the medical reassessment may take to finish?

Today I checked mycic account, it says "

• December 4, 2020 You passed the medical exam.

"
Seems the IME gets extended. Don't know how long it is extended though, it could be 1 year?

I checked my CIC account today and instead of "submitted", it was showing "application updated" or something similar but when I clicked on “check full application status”, there were no new messages. Does anybody know what is going on?

Last week got Ghost update but nothing happened.
Today I checked cic and saw Ghost update again.
Anyone has same situation here?

When you login into cic account, you will see Current status shows ‘application/profile updated’, and when you click on Check full application status, there is nothing changed actually. Then when you go back to main home, Current status will show ‘submitted’.

Nothing to worry about, but if the medical is not done yet let her prepare everything related to the surgery because they will ask her about it and any x-rays as well good luck

I have few questions:
1. Most of the process for my parents is complete and waiting for Passport Requests for quite some time now. Is High Commission of Canada in New Delhi started sending out the Passport Requests? I was told at VFS, Ahmedabad that they only have Biometrics happening at the moment. When do these offices go on Christmas Holidays?
2. Is CIC not processing applications for 75+ years old Parents or Grandparents at the moment?
