My parents are landing next months as PR. I was wondering about applying for Ontario health card. There is no waiting period for applying for ohip. However for applying for the card, my parents need to show address proof. How can I get an address proof for them immediately after they land?

You can send cic a message using the web form advising them of the wrong email address situation and ask them to update the with your new email address. You can also let them know to resend the medical request letter to the new email address, coz you haven’t received it yet.

When sending the passport to NDVO using vfs, do I have to send the passport and other documents of the PA and the dependent in separate packages? And do I have to pay vfs to return the passports back or is that included in the application fee??

Did you receive some kind of update saying your file was transferred to NDVO? In my case, i got the update from my MP's office. There is no indication in my cic account or ECAS saying the file was transferred from Mississauga to New Delhi.

You can get the pcc from regional passport office in India.

If it’s the first “Decision made” that means the sponsor (you) is good to go. Now the processing for the applicants start.
