I applied in december 2019 but did not get the official XEP yet but got it a long time ago using the webform, i recently gave biometrics for my WP renewal and my lawyer said they are trying to send the biometrics using the XEP through the web form. Not sure if they will consider it or will have to wait for the AOR

Hi, I've received an email from IRCC yesterday, it's about my XEP number so they confirm they have received my application.
So It took nearly 5 months to have the xep number which isn't the officlal AOR...

Thanks for letting us know! I was worried my application was sent last August and still haven’t got any communication. At least we now know roughly how long it takes to get some reply.

I asked nothing, they just sent me an email... 2 months so you have to wait for 3 months to have some news...

Thanks for the reply. I submitted a form asking about my documents. I figured that the worst thing they can do is not answer.

Interesting to know that they sent "EMAIL"... usually its the MAIL. Anyways, that's a good sign... hopefully, others will start receiving it as well

We can never assume that, once we start seeing the AORs only then

Received an email with my XEP number last month, no updates then.

I don't think until April 2021 they even start processing application.
