How did you convince the agent to give you that info, the two times I called, the agent (while not being rude) was curt and said I should check my account since they update it as progress is made! How do I tell them that things like eligibility check stays in 'still checking' mode until the very end?!?

not sure how you spoke but I talked in a formal way letting the agent know that I know it is too much to ask but would you be able to provide me the status of the criminality or security or eligibility.

Yes, its all user-created/added.

No private data collected, mostly anonymized username dates.

Got SC phone called for bio appointment -- Nov 17th (from a no caller number)
Bio schedule -- Nov 24th

As per the above comments, I think I have missed the call from Biometrics Team. I got a missed call from private number at 7:22 PM on Weekday. Any possibility of CIC? And I do not see any voice mail. Any idea on When we get the call back again or should we do anything about this other than waiting for the callback?

It is normal. Once you give your bio metric it change then.

I got an email saying there's an update on my account. When I checked, it says profile updated too. But there's actually no changes on each line. I already requested GCMS tru the Privacy Act to know the real status of my application.
