Thanks for the info. But does that even mean anything? Ex. @LoveYVR has AOR- Sept 16 but got approved! @20200919 has AOR: September 19 and got COPR letter itself!

I am not PNP but otherwise same status. IRCC is working since every few days someone gets COPR but looks like select few have to wait and wait. Hope the officer will look at our files too, no idea what strategy they use to choose which file to work on!

They update status in some weird non-linear way. People have pending status on some steps even when they receive approval! There's nothing we can do other than hope/pray

No special tricks other than endless patience. My guess is they take only so many calls a day, after a certain point one hears the message you mentioned. Try to call close to their opening time, try different days, just keep trying, there is no trick. Sheer damn luck

The key word is "almost all", there are few people like you and me who have been left behind, its sad and depressing. Sorry couldn't provide hope or encouraging news :rolleyes:

Sorry buddy :( It must suck so bad. One small silver lining is that your employer is ready to provide an updated employment letter but yes lost time cannot be recovered. It would be great lesson for others if you could share the original letter your employer provided, so that others do not...

The file stands in the middle of nowhere :( Got a document request in Feb but then nothing else!! Horrible wait. May be recommended pass (based on phone call) but who knows!

I am in a similar boat. Did the agent say "Recommended Pass" for Eligibility? If so then it means a junior person has done all the reviewing and suggested that your case's eligibility be approved. Then a senior person will review the junior's work and most probably agree with the recommendation...

Just send what was asked. Some people get extra cautious and they sent +1 then someone wants to be more cautious and sends +2 so break the cycle, send what was asked! If the request was ambiguous then it's a different matter

Congrats buddy. Did you have to submit pics online or by mail? How long did it take between email to confirm address and COPR?

Why on earth would IRCC want photos by post mail when they have the option to allow people to scan and upload?!? Are they out of their minds :mad:

I had to try for 3 days before I could reach an agent today. They are definitely there but under very high demand. If only they properly updated status info on the website then so many people will not be calling them! When will they learn!! Until then, the only solution is to keep trying

A positive update: after 3 days of patiently trying to reach an IRCC agent, I finally talked to a considerate agent who confirmed that my Eligibility is at Recommended Pass, next step would be an officer approving it. Phew, that means the document I submitted for ADR has been accepted and...
