Hi everyone. My process is in process and 16 month passed from time I’ve submitted, and now I am pregnant. Do you know what should I do? Should I say to my lawyer? And do you know anything about the cost when Im waiting for process? Thanks for your answers and help.
I live in Ontario I have my two son while I was out of status, I pay 1500 dollars for delivery and every visit I pay 35 dollars and the hospital stay per day is 2250 dollars.

Here in bc it’s way expensive than what you had paid . There was a woman , who has a due up to $ 500000 . she had a baby in one of the hospital. When I was pregnant I had no medical coverage one of the clinic told me to make a deposit of $10000. I was scared I had no one to go for help , luckily a social worker helped me since I am a PRRA applicant .

The good thing about the hospital is that you pay 10% of the 2250 before you leave the hospital, and after that you make payment plans with the hospital weather a monthly plan are a weekly plan. That they told us and that's what I did , i pay the hospital monthly until i finished all my payment. Because I didn't have any coverage are status when I have my two boys...I hope that help

That is incredibly low. A delivery alone is 7-9K in Ontario and a c-section is 15k. Any time in the NICU can be 20K/day. Then you also have to pay for appointments and tests.

Realized why you paid so little. The taxpayer paid all your midwife costs which is quite frustrating since I have countless friends who have never been able to secure a midwife even if they call in the first month of their pregnancy and they've all had OHIP. They are always full yet people without OHIP seem to get accepted. If you can't find a midwife you will pay around 15K for appointments and a vaginal delivery.

Although this is a bit old, things have yet to change and this describes what I was describing.

Canuck why are you always so bitter and indifferent? Are you here to help or to tear people down? That link you posted said nothing of women without status taking the place of citzens/ PRs with midwives. Who told you she isn't paying her taxes? Omg, you really need to stop this bitterness, it's really ugly.

'll tell you something.
Negative, pessimistic people are part of the immigration procedures, you will find them at every step and many of them have nothing to do with the field of immigration, spreading their negatives under the pretext that they are realistic, beware of listening to them and be sure that you will find a solution to obtain your permanent residence as long as you work on your intent.

Congratulation !
may i know your aspplication was accepted on what basis?

Hardship to return to the country of origin, best interest of the child or establishment in canada ? if it was establishment in canada can il know can if you have been living in canada for a long time (3 years or more) or not , and have you ever applied for asylum, if not, what was your status?
Sorry for late reply. I am here in Canada since 2014. Yes I did apply for asylum and it was rejected. I lose my case after appeal too. I applied for my H&C based on establishment in Canada.

No, what’s irritating, are individuals taking advantage of a system. If you don’t like individuals calling people out on it, oh well

1 I may out of status but my husband pay text in this country for nine years and 2 I never been to a midwife at all with any of my pregnancy and 3 I was seeing a private doctor and he send me to a specialist for me to see him,and he's the one I have been seeing throughout my pregnancy and 4 I pay him to do my delivery, and i pay the hospital for my stay there, So for your information I didn't get any thing free, are any benefits after text payer bloodwork ultrasound are anything I pay out my pocket.. so please don't come at me like I'm living after taxpayers and for your information I have all my receipt to show,so dont come on here judging people.

You don't need to explain nothing to those ridiculous people. They are immigrants too and they feel superior behind a keyboard.
