Thanks for the update. My VO is also Ottawa and CoPR expire in July. But good to see movement in Ottawa cases.
90 days for completing the remeds? Is this a norm or is IRCC not in hurry to process CoPR extension?
Please do check your submitted document upload page in your CIC profile and look for any new entry for medical info sheet upload or something like that. Usually Action Required status changes to Submitted when user uploads the asked document on CIC account. If no new entry is there then it seems that IRCC agents will do it on your behalf once you attach the medical info sheet after remeds.
I dont think IRCC would wait for 90 days if you get the re-meds sooner. 90 days is just to give people enough time to get things done.
Also not saying they will process it the next day after uploading re-meds
Hi, Did the clinic give you the medical report, which you uploaded with a web form? I thought the doctors or clinics send the report directly to IRCC and we do not get to see it?

Given the current confusion with the order that CoPR extension applications are being processed, I was trying to say perhaps consistent follow up from our end might draw attention sooner. Relative to other applicants who might be doing stronger follow ups! Makes sense?!
Now, while I cannot suggest the best option for you - I can share my decision if I had a continuing job in India and your application status. Here is what I would have done:
1. I would have focused on my job. Happy boss, keeps for low stress. In turn takes care of my economic as well as mental well being.
2. I would likely seek travel authorization from IRCC, to travel as early as possible. My personal logic: Immigration is top priority. And if I have any opportunity to travel before CoPR expiry - I will do it. Any other option is unchartered territory, which is not guaranteed. There are trends and many would opine that IRCC is not going to cancel my application and also that ultimately extension will come through. I agree. But fixed permission to enter vs. hope of entering later - my personal choice will be the former.
3. Extension vs. Landing Authorisation now: In case you feel inclined towards waiting - no harm in that. February is far away and you still have time. Lots can and will change in that time frame. Your decision can wait until 2021. January is when we can revisit this topic.
Now, we you and I like many are blessed! We have our families, food on the plate and love and health! So it is important to celebrate it. Have an awesome time celebrating LIFE! time with friends, sight seeing corners of your city, long drives - ones in Canada, I cant tell you enough how I miss those days of India (left 20 years ago...)

My counterfoil updated this morning with Nov 30 expiry. Did you receive your AL after counterfoil update on Oct 27? If yes, how did you receive AL? Via RROC email or as an attachment in your GC key login?
We are in the same boat. Im not landed yet. I dont know what I am waiting. I have been sending webform re my landing and my family, so far what ive got is the notification letter,i have not heard anything about my PR status. As per ircc, we (principal applicant)need to get PR status first before the dependents can enter canada

my visa was COPR visa was issued in October and getting expired on Feb 2021. I requested for visa extension and today I received a mail saying they have cancelled my existing visa and asked me to send the passports back to issue new visa.
do they stamp new visa and COPR or with an extension or will they only cancel my existing ones? Please let me know anyone who have gone through same process? @legalfalcon @legalfalcon @legalfalcon @hinavin

I requested for visa extension and today received a mail asking me to submit the passports to issue new visa and COPR docs. I’ll be submitting the docs and will let you know how when i received the passports back.!Hi,
Same situation here. We received CORP on 05 Nov 2020 with a validity only until 03 Jan 2021. With the current travel restrictions, we’re not allowed to land. Now we’re praying that the won’t suddenly lift travel restrictions in Dec or early Jan, we don’t have enough time for preparation and landing
Planning to try our luck to request IRCC to extend our CORP. At the same time doing whatever we could to plan for a last minute landing in case they suddenly remove travel restrictions.
