I think He/She means that they waited 2.5 months after they submitted there CSQ to receive their medical request ! But they did receive their medical request 3 November

Isn't the CSQ forwarded to IRCC by MIDI themselves? My wife's application is also being processed in London, and we received a CSQ in September. Should I forward the CSQ to them manually as well? Thanks.

They also give us a slot to upload on GCKey. I did both by sending it via webform and uploading again on GCKey later on.

Thanks! My wife's application is being processed at the London Visa Office. We submitted our application in September 2019 and the last update we received was an acknowledgment of receipt by IRCC London. Nothing ever since. Here is our timeline:

Application received: September 24th, 2019
Biometrics request: November 18th, 2019
Federal eligibility requirements met: November 19th, 2019
Additional documents request: November 22nd, 2019 (asked for police certs)
Biometrics received: December 4th, 2019
Additional documents received: I have no idea when - it still says 'We are reviewing the additional documents you provided'
Sponsor approval/CSQ request: February 4th, 2020
AOR from IRCC London: July 30th, 2020
Approved CSQ received: 23rd September, 2020
CSQ uploaded to IRCC London through web form: 11th November, 2020

I reached out to IRCC London a few weeks back inquiring what the status of our application was since it's been more than a year now. They replied back saying:

"Your application is in line for review by an assessing officer"

My wife's here with me on a visit visa so it's not so bad, to be honest. The only issue is we've been married for over two years now and would like to start a family. I imagine having a newborn at this stage might just delay our application further.

I received pre-arrival letter 2 october
And medical was received on gckey 29 october ..
Wondering how much more should i wait .. is the background check now or its already done ? And how much usually does it take for background check if its after medical

Once the medical is received on gckey it doesn’t take very long for passport request, maybe 14 days or so. The validity of the visa in your passport is always 1 year after medical were received, so you should be getting ppr soon

Once the medical is received on gckey it doesn’t take very long for passport request, maybe 14 days or so. The validity of the visa in your passport is always 1 year after medical were received, so you should be getting ppr soon

In my case, my wife already had a visit visa even before we got married. She had applied for it back in 2018

Good morning everyone,

Today I received a medical request for my wife along with a request for additional documents. They're asking for new police certificates, background declaration, and travel info. While I'm happy to send this over at the earliest, does this mean that it's still going to take a while before the background checks are completed?

It’s been 16 days after medical received and nothing till now ..
Even 2 emails for VO and and no answers ..
Wondering how many days can it take for decision made ! It’s frustrating
