Thanks for the reply. I have called IRCC and they are saying they don't have my file. I am the employer and I sent is by express courier from Canada. it's so frustrating.
Don't worry too much they have the same response to us nothing found on their file but after 2 wks we received AOR. Maybe because they have not open yet the envelop you sent.

hello,

I have a representative hired and I need a advise if I should go ahead and link my file to the online account that was created last year? My representative does not want to link the file to online account as he thinks it's more convenient by email or mail or I should be leaving up to him only? I heard that creating an account I can get every single update on the account but my representative will loose the access to the file. please advise?

It’s common all lawyers say the same thing one thing you can do as you can call IRCC and ask them to add your contact information along with your representative .i have also done so today as I added my contact number with representative’s contact number....lawyer don’t want us to be independent because they will not have access to our case but we can’t make them to keep aside as somewhere we will need their assistance..

I think you should leave access to representative only ,bcz they r more experience than us nd r capable of handling critical situation which we as lay man r not aware of, mostly online account only show that file is processing. Rest decision is yours.

Good evening, has anyone from Nigeria made payments for the application? Are we to pay for work permit separately from others which include ; Processing, RPRF and Biometric? Also did you use your Naira MasterCard for payments? At what rate was deducted? So sorry for the long questions, I am trying not to make mistake on the payment stuff.... Thank you

Seems there is a specific instruction of payments for Nigeria applicants
Are you supposed to pay for permanent residency at the same time you are applying for work permit, even when you don't have up to 2 years experience? Let me know what you did. My sister is in the process as well.

Yes, you have to pay for PR application as well.

The only thing you can hold off on is the right of permanent residency fee (rprf)

Thanks Quami! So, it means an applicant coming with husband and two toddlers will have to pay a lot if PR will be paid for at the same time as work permit. But for what do you apply for for accompanying children who are just 1 and 4 years old? For the husband, I know you have to apply for work permit as well. But the question of accompanying children is a grey area, especially because they are not yet of school age to apply for study permit.

Application submitted 5th Sept 2019. AOR was on 18th Oct 2019, Employer meeting with Oath Commissioner feb 2020 with additional documents from employer, after that nothing yet...
Can you please explain what meeting with Oath commissioner means and what was discussed? Thank you

Good to hear now they can process mine too applied March 2020.hopeful
Yes, I agreed too and wish you all the best.
But I think that it will be fer enough to all applicant's who applied for this program last year from June 2019 to December 2019, that immigration first finish with processing of their applications until they start new one, with all respect to new applicants.
We are waiting over 1 whole year to get work permits.
I know that all applicants from this group agree with me with this, esspecially those who applied last year 2019.
