Applied January 2020 to Home Child Care Pilot

Eligibility Passed letter dated May 18, 2023 states: "The work permit will allow you to work in Canada as a temporary resident and acquire the 24 months of Canadian work experience within 36 months."

Received an email yesterday stating that "This is to inform you that, effective June 16, 2024, the work experience requirement to qualify for permanent residence under the Home Child Care Provider Pilot pilot program has been reduced from 12 months to 6 months."

Does this mean that will only need 6 months of work experience to finish PR application?

Please has anyone gotten to the stage where you had to provide some information to receive the PR Portal login credentials?

I received the email requesting information on May 30th and replied the same day. It's been over 2 months and I have not received the portal login credentials.

Any advice on what to do?

So many congratulations... Just wanted to know that before receiving the Eligibility letter when was the last email or any info you received from IRCC and what was that.
For us in May they requested my sister's daughter's passport copy as it was expired but after that nothing and also my sister's family Medicals are expired too now.. I am so frustrated with all these.
Can you please share.

Thanks

I called IRCC on August 12. Although I could not speak with an agent, immediately after I received a second P1 email and finally received my P2 on August 28.

My younger brother is 21 right now but his locked in date was 18 I believe.
My current age is 25 and my locked in date was 21.

So we both were included in the PR Eligibility Letter. And in EL Letter it said that "Any accompanying dependants are eligible to apply for an open work permit, a study permit or a Temporary Resident Visa if the child is not of school age. You however did not submit temporary resident applications for (my younger brother) at the time you applied. You must now apply online. For more information on these permits, please click on this link."

Also if you see dependant age on IRCC website it says 22 or less. Here's the link for that too

I was told by our consultant to not apply for his work permit again. Now we are waiting for my Mom’s 6 months experience to finish (1 month left) and then just include all the family members in final PR application.
I dont think it should be any problem because everybody has their name included in PR eligibility letter.
