On the other hand they did not reply to my webform uploads for 20 days, but when I phoned she says YES we got docs like PCC+ PPT copies. Still worried too much re; PCC ORIG or scanned and agents don't have clue. It reads original PCC but read they accept scanned PCC too
Did you include a Letter of Explanation for the missing PCC when you sent the initial hard copy package? I have read that applications are being returned for missing PCC and it is making me nervous

My application has been returned :(
I had submitted my file on 29 Mach 2020

Missing documents
* Military services Notery
* Marriage Certificate English translation from a registered office.
Sorry to hear that, but they have mentioned sending documents translations if they are not in English. Don't lose hope. Update your file and send all documents again.

GOOD Q This is what we wrote:-

DOCUMNETS CHECK LIST IMM 5533E : NAME HERE xxxxxxx

PART B- SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED by Applicant and Dependants over 18

4. POLICE CERTIFICATES AND CLEARANCES

We are unable to attach P.C.C. at this time since due to COVID-19 and CURFEW imposed all over state where applicant lives. Also They need PASSPORT to issue a POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE.

Passports cannot be applied for as all offices are closed including Delivery couriers companies. Above will be uploaded when all things are back to normal. We cannot predict when COVID -19 will disappear or LOCK DOWN will be opened.

Thanks

Hey Guys, I just got this email . Is this AOR2??
Dear Sir/Madam,
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of *** and family (if applicable).
We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.
Reminder – Your undertaking is an unconditional promise of support
The undertaking you signed is an unconditional promise to financially support and provide basic requirements for your sponsored relative(s). This undertaking is not broken by such changes as the granting of Canadian citizenship, divorce, separation, relationship breakdown, moving to another province, or a change in your financial situation. Your obligations as a sponsor begin as soon as your sponsored relative and, if applicable, their accompanying family members become permanent residents of Canada. This undertaking cannot be cancelled once permanent resident visas are issued to them.
The Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) will be forwarded to the visa office in New Delhi for further processing.
This is sponsor approval. Aor2 is when you open principal applicant tab on ecas and it says we started processing your application on DD-MM-YYYY. Check your sponsor side on ecas it will say decision made as you have received sponsor approval letter already that you mentioned above.

Thanks! I had done the same but I had included the payment receipt as a proof that we had already applied but werent able to collect PCC. I sent PCC through the web form and I got an acknowledgement in just over two weeks after submission.

Somebody from FB group has called and:
IRCC has confirmed that all the actions announced by IRCC to speed up the processing of applications is for the files inside Canada and it does not affect the visa offices abroad.
No effect on family reunification for the applications in VOs.

So all those processed in Ottawa are the ones that are for sure fast tracked.
Does that mean CPC-mississauga too?

This isn't first hand information, so I cannot say for sure, but presumable including Miss., as in all files inside Canada. Just pray your files goes to Ottawa, right now its the fastest of any route.
My file is at CPC-Miss and eligibility and security check hasn't started. Like someone said in the forum its being done by a different office. Could it be Ottawa?

As per Google search;- FBI reports expire six (6) months from the date they are issued.
Thanks Singleman. I'll go with the 6 months.

Reason for the confusion is this: Sponsorship page says 'Police certificates are generally valid for 1 year from the date they’re issued.' https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/family-sponsorship/spouse-partner-children/apply.html

Express Entry page: 'The police certificate for the country where you currently live ... must be issued no more than 6 months before the date you submit your application' https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html

Hello,

We submitted the spousal sponsorship application for my wife back in March and still waiting for AOR1 to come in. In the meantime, we applied for a visitors visa for her in parallel, and it was approved, she's got her visitors visa now.

Does anyone know if you can pass your medical in any country, or does it need to be in the country of residence? We are trying to avoid a scenario where she comes to visit in Canada and then has to rush back to get the medical done. It would be ideal if she could do it in Canada, I'm just not sure if this is allowed or not for spousal applications.

BTW, tried to call Immigration Canada about this already, but they couldn't give me a coherent answer. I guess this is not a very common scenario.
Congratulations on your wife's visitor's visa it's amazing, can you please tell me what you wrote for the purpose of her visit, and does she has a strong ties in her home country, also is she financially strong?
We are also planning on visiting, but we are not certain on what purpose to give to them.
Thank you.
