@Omofar. I applied for a study permit in March- single applicant, (paid only one semester fee and had POF of $40,000) and was denied due to 'low economic ties and insufficient funds'. I later reapplied in June via an Immigration Consultant- paid $2,000 for that- with the new application, I made full payment of the first year- $12,000 CAD, had approx $52,000 POF (from my savings and my spouse's savings), still a single applicant, paid 50% of AirBnB booking for 3 weeks (approx $350 USD), wrote a self-isolation plan, supported the application with our property documents to address the low economic ties... I was still refused after about 3 months. It's crazy! I was advised to go for Judicial Review- but honestly, I'm tired. Now, I have requested for a refund from the school- unfortunately on Airbnb, I'm only entitled to a $10 refund.
