They asked me the same thing. Worried because I am currently under ei working part time while taking care of my daughter for her online and face to face class. The reason I cant get a full time job yet because of my schedule.

Unless you or your child is immunocompromised I would really suggest putting your child in school and finding full-time work. Working full-time and not depending on the government if you’ve been on CERB and EI for 6 months will look much better. Many parents have had to make the tough decision to return to work and put their child in school for financial reasons when they may have preferred to remain at home.

Guys I need your inputs, I received an email this week from the responsible office who works on my file saying “Your Application is being sent to an Officer for Review Of Finalization”, I called the client support centre agent couple of times they said my CRIMINALITY is NOT YET STARTED but in my GCMS Notes that I ordered it states in the note CRIMINALITY - IN PROGRESS. Im inside Canada

Eligibility - Passed
Medical - Passed
Security - Passed

Criminality says by the agent not yet started.

I also talked to a IRCC Agent she says the officer put a note in my file “FINAL REVIEW”

But Im worried about my criminality checks. Why my file is now in Final Review without assessment of my Criminality.

Unless you know you have a crinimal record there is no need to worry about the criminality check. These checks can take months.

Every case is different and it handles by different officers. The next stage is Medical and PCC, Proof of financial status and passport. Goodluck

In progress may mean that the file is open but the process of background checks haven’t started. These background checks often take many months because there is a large number of people in line for the background checks. As long as it takes less than 4-6 months I wouldn’t be concerned. Your processing has still be incredibly fast.

Finances,employment and potentially medical expenses will be evaluated (if not part of the H&C reason). You should be proving that you are self sufficient and working. Processing times vary from a few weeks to a few months.

There are some ppl in your situation I know a guy he did apply for h&c and PRRA
But his PRRA approved before h&c
Just be patient will get an answer soon

My question has body before PRRA got h&c answers because I see almost all 2018 applications got answers but I’m kind of anxiety seeing they working on 2019 and 2020 applications
Are same ppl here in my situation and waiting for answers for 2018 ?
