Hello Everyone,
I have received the GCMS notes today and below is the status:
Eligibility: Recommend Passed
Security: Not started
Criminality: Passed

Idid go through the Notes section at the bottom and noticed my eligibility was recommended passed on March 11( Feb 11 is my AOR). I'm confused and a bit worried as my case has not been touched for 6 months since it was recommended passed by a case analyst in march. Kindly advice what could be the reason. @legalfalcon
In most cases many applications are just on hold. See if you have COVID pace under activities in the middle of the GCMS notes.

Also, the average time for application processing is now 9 months. This is just an administrative delay.

I was also in the same situation for over 6 months and recently cleared all my stages and waiting for final approval.. My eligibility wasn't even started until end of August. When ordered GCMS in July only R10 check was done.

Its just a wait game like mentioned by all average processing times as per 2019 report is 9 months. Stay positive and good luck

Thank you.
It is interesting that some cases stay untouched since February- March, others from end of May, June is almost completed. I would understand each case is different, but why some cases are not processed as others and left untouched for a very long time.
What do you mean by "COVID pace under activities in the middle of the GCMS notes." Can you ( @legalfalcon) elaborate it a little more ? Thanks

Hello everyone
I called IRCC last Monday, they informed me that my Eligibilty and Security is passed and Criminality is in progress.
Please advice @legalfalcon , Is there any certain procedure of this..??
because I have heard that criminality is passed before security, but in my case it has happened the opposite

Some applications have been put on hold and have an entry as COVID Pace. Search for COVID Pace on the forum.

Have you requested your GCMS notes and is your eligibility conclusively passed?

I received my notes last month, at that time it was not passed. bu last monday I called IRCC, so the agent gave me this update
Only after the eligibility is passed, the security starts, and it takes 1-5 weeks for the security to be passed.

Have you given your biometrics?

my case was touched after 5.5 months since eligibility was recommended pass, so i guess that's the new normal.

Yes, i have submitted my biometrics on 11 match. IRCC agent told that my eligibilty and security is passed
Then there is no reason for the criminality to be in progress unless there are some issues with it. Criminality only remains in progress when you have a criminal record a prior conviction, charge etc. or when there is an outstanding document, such as PCC or biometrics.

You can send a webform and ask.
