Usually a Biometrics Validity Letter (BVL) preceded by an AIP is a good sign. If the BVL comes with no prior updates, usually means a refusal.

Thanks @ayesha_llk2 , that's another pattern that I haven't noticed. I like this forum in that it enables us to observe certain patterns and somehow helps us determine if applications are generally approval / refusal material. @Yusuf786 has disappeared and @jigzyy is nowhere to be seen. Thanks. I remember going through that thread actually..... Did we ever confirm if the AIP letter he receievd was legit and not one of the lot that was sent to emails by mistake?

Received in GC Account so it was legit.

My friend also got BVL yesterday from Abudhabi but sadly he was rejected today. SDS, he got AIP on 3rd Sept but retracted the next day so no AIP. OP good luck hopefully you'll get PPR

What do you mean by retracted? The AIP was sent by mistake?

Some people who got aip through email or gckey on 3rd sept and 4th sept received another document on gckey stating that the aip is retracted and that they are still under 1st stage processing.
