IRCC can distribute applications to any office around the world based on workload etc. For example, One UAE applicant had her file processed in Ho Chi Minh. There is no "wrong" office.

Nahh, If you go through his chat history, it is indeed clear that he is an applicant. Also, getting a decision in 24 hours after the BVL is not always true. Do not point fingers or make assumptions.

Some people who got aip through email or gckey on 3rd sept and 4th sept received another document on gckey stating that the aip is retracted and that they are still under 1st stage processing.

Go ahead and apply through the non-SDS route. It would take some time to hear a decision though. There is always a chance of an approval! (A strong SOP will definitely help!) Good Luck! btw I Applied 13th April from UAE, AIP received 08th September.

A biometrics correspondence letter is usually the last thing before a decision letter is sent. Hoping for the best!
